After the match with Pony and Mina, the sixth match was about to start, and it was Momo vs Tokoyami. They both entered the arena as the crowd roared out loud in excitement. Y/N leaned back in his chair and was about to close his eyes until he got smacked in the face by Jiro.
Y/N: Oww!!! What the heck was that for?!
Jiro: *Chuckles* I didn't even hit you that hard. Besides, this could be an interesting fight between Yao-Momo and Tokoyami. So stop being bored and watch the show.
Y/N: Tch... Alright, fine.
Present Mic: AND NOW, WE'VE GOT NO TIME TO LOSE! LET'S MOVE ON TO THE SIXTH MATCH! OFFENSE AND DEFENSE IN ONE BODY! THE DARK SAMURAI ACCOMPAINED BY DARK SHADOW! FROM THE HERO COURSE, IT'S FUMIKAGE TOKOYAMI! VERSUS! ALL-PURPOSE CREATION! SHE WAS ADMITTED THROUGH RECOMMENDATIONS, SO HER ABILITIES ARE CERTIFIED! FROM THE HERO COURSE, IT'S MOMO YAOYOROZU!
Y/N noticed that Izuku was writing down something in his notebook and was really paying attention to the fight. Y/N leaned in and asked Izuku:
Y/N: Hey, what do you think might actually happen?
Izuku: I think time will be the key.
Y/N: Hm? What do you mean?
A couple of minutes went by as Momo was thinking of a plan to defeat Tokoyami. As she was thinking, her thoughts got interrupted by Present Mic's loud voice through the microphone.
Present Mic: SIXTH MATCH, START!
Tokoyami: Go, Dark Shadow!
Dark Shadow came out rushing towards Momo. She quickly created a shield and blocked Dark Shadow's strike. She was about to make weapon, but Dark Shadow came back fast and strike her again, not giving her the chance to collect her thoughts. It came back again and attacked her again and again, causing her to get push back. She slide back and stopped herself, she looked at Tokoyami and Dark Shadow who wasn't doing anything.
Momo: 'His attacks have stopped? Now it's my chance!'
Midnight: Yaoyorozu is out of bounds!
Momo was confused but then she looked down and saw her foot was across the line, and she couldn't believe it.
Midnight: Tokoyami advances to the second round!
The crowd cheered for Tokoyami. And Tokoyami called back Dark Shadow and bowed towards Momo and left.
Present Mic: WHAT A VICTORY! A COMPLETELY OVERWHELMING VICTORY! TOKOYAMI'S DARK SHADOW! COULD IT BE THE GREATEST QUIRK EVER?!
Momo stood there, and she still couldn't believe that she lost that quick and easily.
Momo: No... I couldn't do anything... Nothing...
Y/N and Izuku were surprised to see an easy victory for Tokoyami, especially up against Momo.
Izuku: Tokoyami's too amazing. I can't believe he forced her out of bounds just by focusing his attacks on the shield Yaoyorozu made.
Y/N: But didn't you kind of noticed the way how he was fighting though? Dark Shadow was only pushing her back, but it wasn't trying to hurt her in any way possible. It's almost like he was holding back.
Izuku: Huh... Now that you said it, it did seem like he didn't want to hurt her. You're really observant, Y/N.
Y/N: Yeah... And the only reason I watched this fight was because SOMEONE decided it would be funny to give me a crispy slap across the face! *Looks at Jiro*
