The threat of a lifetime

The encounter

After the bell rang Edric decides to skip class he walks through the hall and sneaks through the door. Outside Edric starts to walk away and hears something in the woods he walks in as quietly as he could. He sees a hooded figure the man was very tall he had a demon witch pinned to a tree with a dagger in her shoulder.

"Where are my snails" the hooded figure said with his deep raspy voice. "I don't know what your talking about" she said as she spits in the hooded figures face. He grabs her by her hood and removed the dagger slowly she screams in pain. Edric not wanting to see what happens next tries to sneak away *snap* he had stepped on a twig. The hooded figure drops the witch and turns around to see him. Edric starts to run and the hooded figure started to chase him.

Running as fast as he could Edric starts freaking out "oh shit I can't slow down or I'm dead I know hexide just have to make it to hexide" he tells himself as he speeds toward the school.

The hooded figure was chasing Edric as he grabs his dagger and starts to aim but was stopped as the witch from before hit him with a fire spell. "Still alive I'm surprised no ever last this long" he says to the female witch, she hits him with another fire spell " like I'd let you hurt anyone else for some stupid snails or for finding you out you old basturd"she says trying to stand her ground. He dashed at her grabbing her by her neck before she could say anything it was over she had died from blood lose.

Edric makes it back to hexide and heads inside and calms down he sits near some lockers as he tries to register what had just happened "I just witnessed a murder and almost got myself killed I need to stop skipping class" he says to himself as he walks to the class he was supposed to be in.

Mr blight! and where have you been, hopefully not skipping class his teacher says "sorry sir I just needed some fresh air it won't happen again" Edric says.

"That hair he's a blight " the hooded figure said as he started walking back into the woods to discard the female witch he had just hunted. "I will find you blight and you won't like what happens next"
