Dante had gone to the store to buy food. Just food. Nothing out of the ordinary of it. She had went to pay and her card was declined. "You're kidding me?" "Sorry lady. That's what it says..." The store clerk said. Dante, upset, just left the groceries and walked out.
Trish and Lady were at the shop when Dante arrived. Trish handed over a bill that was literally over twenty million dollars in just clothes alone. Dante was even more upset when all the money she had in the jars are gone. She had no money for food, to pay her bills and now her debt. "Well you haven't payed us back so-" the same excuse they use.
Dante didn't even protest about the money anymore. It was to tiring for her. She faked protested acting like she cared about her money. "Oh come on. Man up." It was a little joke between them. She was extremely fit, and was curvy like an hour glass. Her vest covered most of her large chest making it look more like a beautiful man. She had long hair like her mom's.
She laughed bitterly. "Yeah. Whatever." She said. They left and she banged her head on the table. "Am I just used for money now?" She asked her self. "Diana?" She lifted her head up to see Patty. "Oh. Hey." She smiled. "Diana... Are you okay?" She smiled sadly at her. "Yes Patty, I'm fine. Just... Out of it." Patty knew of Dante's depression and tried to help her as much as possible. She looked at Dante like she didn't believe her. "Something happened?" She asked. For a teen as old as her, she was smart. "... ... ... Yeah... It's okay though. I've made through worse." She admitted.
Morrison came in with a job and she took it mainly because it paid well and it was in cash. It was in the outskirts of town. An abandoned mansion with a demon living inside taking human's. It became a common thing on the news lately. A guy was willingly going to pay her one hundred million dollars if she got it done. Morrison took her there and she figured that the demon was powerful just by the aura it self.
Instead of her saying 'See you later.' She said 'Good bye, Morrison.' That's what threw Morrison off. She said 'Good bye'. Not 'See you later.' Enzo was in the car too when she said that. He had came for the same job and was sitting in the car. It threw him through a loop but kept his mouth shut. She said bye to Enzo as well. She sounded Depressed and happy at the same time. She even said bye instead of later to Patty.
They stay close by to make sure she came out. She didn't come out until morning around ten o'clock. They were relieved a bit but noticed that she wasn't her self. She was just... Depressed? She looked out of it. "I'm just tired..." She said. They took it as that and left.
The money was handed over and she bought food finally. She paid off her debt with the credit card and paid the bills. The rest of the money was taken by Trish and Lady and she was in debt still. She sunk further in her bed, cried and fell asleep with one thought on her mind.
Death.
