Chapter 7

Minah's POV

This is the first time I saw my daughter happily eating at the dining area, I can't explain how happy I am to see my daughter looking lively and cheerful. It feels like a relieve to see your own daughter giggling and chuckling together with her father, but it is also hurt to remember that he is the husband of my elder sister and they had a child as well. I feel like I was the mistress that needs attention because of my daughter, it reflects that we are stealing him from them. I know the feeling of being ignored and being empty so I won't that happen to my niece and as a respect to my elder sister I will just let Kai to be the father to Mirah but not a husband in me.

At dawn, I heard some strange noises around the hallway that makes me to get up from the bed.

Minah went outside to her room, "Hey.. What's going on?" she asked the maid,

"Good morning Ms Minah! Master Kai wants some linens." Maid replied,

"What? Where is he?" Minah asked,

"He's in the kitchen." Maid replied,

"Oh, okay." Minah said and felt weird,

The maid bows on her and leave while Minah go to Kai's room to check if Mirah are still inside.

As she reach the room, Mirah are asleep and Minah move closer to the bed.

She arrange the blankets of Mirah and kiss her in the forehead.

"Sleep more baby." Minah whispers

Minah get interested for what Kai's doing on the kitchen so she left the room and walk to the kitchen.

Minah walks carefully to take a peak on what's Kai doing, by the moment she saw Kai she was surprise to see him cooking and making busy to kitchen.

"Good morning Ms Minah!" Maid said,

Kai look to his front and he saw Minah wearing a white shift undress.

Minah get blushed and can't even look at Kai, "Good... Morning."

"How's your sleep?" Kai asked while cooking,

"Uhh.. Good.. Why you're cooking?" Minah asked,

"Well, this is the first time I will go on a picnic so I wanna make it special for my daughter.. And of course to you.." Kai replied,

Minah get shy, "But.. You got maids here, why don't you let them to cook?"

"Are you making fun of me?" Kai asked,

"Uh.. What? No..why you're.." Minah replied,

"You think I can't cook?" Kai asked,

"No.. I mean, before I never see you cooking." Minah replied,

"Well, that's in the past.. Things changed." Kai said,

"Right. Things changed." Minah replied,

"So tell me, what's her favorite?" Kai asked,

"Mirah? Uhh.. Well she eats everything. But she likes pasta a lot." Minah replied,

"Great. I hope she will like this." Kai chuckles,

Minah glimpse and smile at Kai.

"Why you're smiling?" Kai asked,

Minah shakes her head, "Nothing.. I was just surprise by you."

"What do you mean?" Kai asked,

"Well.. 4years ago you are not an early riser but now you woke up very early to cook for breakfast and do special efforts." Minah replied,
