Stay with crime

Ok so person A is just a person that lives a normal life, they have a small house and no roommates but lives across from a sweet old lady and next to two young couples.
One day it's raining while A is on the couch watching the news,after the news talks about the stormy rain, they say that a new criminal is on the loose and begin to describe person B.
A get's freaked out but thinks nothing of it and resumes to watching the news.
Though after a few minutes,the storm grows heavier and heavier until the power goes out.
A get's a bit frustrated and goes to find a light until they head some activity in their kitchen.
A goes to check what is going on in the kitchen just as the power comes back on.
There person A sees person B,soaked from the rain and eating person A's food.
A get's terrified and goes to try and call for help but B stops A and explains that B is wanted for crimes that they did and needs a place to lay low for awhile.So A agrees to let B stay there since B also says they can help A and keep them safe.
