I was traveling back to Milwaukee after being in the slavery times discovering what happened in that time period. However, when I was trying to travel back home, my time machine watch malfunctioned. Now i'm trapped on December 16, 1773 and I am terrified because there is a massive riot with the so called colonists. There was around 500 to 600 people protesting, all I could hear from them was " We will not pay tax for the tea!" Surprise fills my body as I am startled by some old man that walks up to me. "The whole town is going to meet up at Old South Meeting House at 10pm ".
Who is this guy??
" What is your name?" I question him, confused. "Sorry for approaching you without letting you know who I am. I am Samuel Adams, founder of the group the so called The Sons Of Liberty."
So then I asked him " Where did you say the whole town is gonna meet up at 10pm?" Samuel Adams says " We are gonna meet up at Old South Meeting House" "Thank you I promise to go" I say as I walk off to explore the town. I see horses just standing there eating hay... weird, I never see that. In Milwaukee the horses stay in the farm unless it's carrying a carriage on West National Avenue during a parade.
After walking for an hour straight to explore Griffin's Wharf, Massachusetts I went to a bar called John bar house. I see the bartender. "Do you know what time it is by any chance?" I ask. The rude bartender doesn't even bother to even look at me or listen to me. So I yell this time, " DO YOU KNOW BY ANY CHANCE WHAT TIME IT IS!?" and this time she hears me and says " sorry but it's currently 9:30"
Oh no...
Panic and alarm takes over my body like a Impala panicking when a lion is attacking it . I promised Samuel Adams that I would go to South Meeting House at 10pm. I frantically ask her " Do you by any chance know where South Meeting House is located?" " South Meeting House is two blocks up the street then you take a left then there is a brown brick building on the corner".
I gotta go.
I run like lightning mcqueen trying to beat Dinoco-blue in a race ,as I go to South Meeting House. When I get there I see over 500 colonists entering, like people entering a Bucks vs Toronto Conference Finals Game. When I walk in the same guy that approached me during the protest named Samuel Adams is giving a speech to the colonist. "We need to fight for what we want we need to show the government how we feel about them putting tax on our tea!", he says. I was surprised to hear him, I haven't heard of someone fighting for rights since August 28, 1963. That was when Martin Luther King Jr gave the I have a dream speech. Then Samuel Adams said, " Who would like to fight for the rights of those who will like to help show a difference by joining the Sons of Liberty." Those words really felt like something heavy was on my heart like a foot pushing down on it because I've never thought of showing a difference in the world so I yelled out "I will join! !" I would have never thought I had the courage to fight for something that was right till today, after going off to space thinking of what difference I can make in the past. I get snapped out of it when this guy that looks like he is 40 years old taps me on my shoulder and says " Thank you for joining the "Sons of Liberty", we are gonna meet up here again at 7pm tomorrow to discuss a plan on what we are going to do to make a point that we have a voice on not wanting tax on the tea!"
The next day comes and I go back to the South Meeting House at 7:30pm and I walk in and I see a lot of what look like halloween costumes. I ask one of the colonists "what is this costume for?" and he says " You missed the speech, we are dressing up as mohawks to get on the Beaver, the Dartmouth, and the Eleanor to dump all the tea at 12pm in the boston harbor." I was kind of excited we were gonna do that because I've never thought I would be in an historical event.
So I left and waited till the next day and when the time came I put on my costume and got to the boston harbor at the exact time the guy told me to be there and when I showed up I saw about 150 colonists. Then Samuel Adams comes and says " Ok we are going to split up in 3 teams 50 on each" so we all go and get on our group. I was very anxious because my group went to the Eleanor ship which is the biggest out of all. After waiting for around 10 to 15 minutes we start to board the ships when all the groups are finally boarded on the ship samuel adams scream out loud
" IF THEY THINK THEY WILL PUT TAX ON OUR TEA THEY THEY WON'T BECAUSE WE WON'T LET THEM BECAUSE TODAY DECEMBER 16, 1773 WE WILL DUMP ALL THIS BRITISH TEA INTO THE HARBOR!"
Out of nowhere all the colonists start dumping the tea so I hesitate and join them by dumping the tea. I have never felt so good breaking a law to show a right in the world. "The glowing crates of tea flowing through the harbor, look like clouds filling the sky on a rainy day" I say to the colonist that is beside me who commences to laugh. If you were to ask me I think we dumped a whopping of 342 crates of tea. Our plan was going prodigious so far but, when I'm fixing my attention on dumping the tea I get startled by the colonist beside me who screams out loud " The Redcoats are coming!" So I panic because when I look back I see around 20 Redcoats boarding the ship. I've never felt this much adrenaline in my life it was flowing threw my veins. l can't move my body until I feel a jab to my rib that makes me fall to the ground, I feel a sudden dizziness and I fall down to meet my whole body lying on the hard wooden floor in pain. After around 1 to 2 minutes of laying on the floor crying in pain the Redcoat crouches down and pulls me up by my arm. I don't know what was going through my head because out of nowhere I swing my arm at his face. I look around to find all the colonists running away into a shop so lift myself up and jump off the boat onto the dock and I start running. I luckily made it inside the dark warm shop where all the colonists are currently waiting, we wait around an hour were, minutes feel like years.. After waiting atleast 1 hour I felt a buzz run up my body so I hesitated a looked down and when I looked down In big bright green letters it said " READY TO TELEPORT TO 2020!" So I screamed in joy and pressed that watch.
