Just a few things to take into consideration since this is an entirely fictional world.
Kingdom of Giamaria.
Goddess Impitia.
There are nuns in this world but they worship the Goddess Impitia unlike many nuns in the real world. I wanted to have multiple groups of people that worshiped one being and nuns is what I decided on along with priests, priestesses, and monks as well. Included regular people of course.
Nuns see Impitia has a example of what the perfect woman should be. Loving, caring, trustworthy, understanding and a mother to all her children. Women take pride in being compared to Impitia it is the highest compliment towards a woman.
Males also worship her and see her as a mother and they her children. If they wish to do things such as marriage, divorce, owning new lands, discussing politics, or invading lands they would pray to the goddess before to ensure things run smoothly.
There are nonbelievers of the goddess and they do not get punished because others see that as a way of disobeying and disrespecting the goddess. They are still allowed to have the jobs they seek, marriages, etc but some do look down on them for not believing.
If a believer or nonbeliever attacks one or the other they will face punishment appropriately.
This is a fantasy book so there will be aspects of magic and such. The book is set in a medieval era but I'm sorry if I do get anything wrong from that time frame but it is fantasy so anything could really go couldn't it?
There is also going to be themes of lgbtq+ it will focus on the story plot line as much as the romance aspect both playing towards the plot. This is a slow burner so be prepared for that. Fair warning some might have saw the poly tag it is for two women and a man not between multiple men.
