Wind outside howled relentlessly, Trees swayed violently, branches tore at the night sky. Above the rolling black colds spat out sheets of snow.
A cabin sat half-buried in a bed of snow and ice—a plume of smoke coiled out of the chimney. Soft light flickered from the windows, to show the defined silhouette of a man moving about inside.
The man hummed soundless tune moved about the place. Shifting things over on one the shelf better organizes his supplies. Nodding to himself satisfied pivoted on the spot to the desk in the far corner.
Taking up the Skull into the crook of his arm, tight grip over bottle's neck. Sauntered over to the front of the roaring fireplace. Gently sat the skull down onto the floor.
"Oh". Smacked his four heads, corners of lips turned up in amusement.
"Cups how silly of me." Going over to the shelf plucked up two chipped glass cups. Coming back over, eased himself into the worn leather chair.
"I intended this for medical reasons, but taking few sips wouldn't hurt?" Unscrewing cap tiled bottle pour vodka into Bills cup. "I know this is your favorite."
'Yes, but we both know it will be gone before sunrise.'
Narrowed his eyes to the pale skull, leaned in forward. "You drink your vodka. "Gesturing with bottle poured genres portion to the next glass.
"Let me drink mine."
'This isn't a good Idea.'
His hand twitched causing the liquid to spill onto the floor. Face growing taunt as strings on a violin. Turning bottle right side up, slamming it down harshly, it when off like a gunshot.
"Y-you know what's also not a good idea. Talking to you" Breathed through pale lips.
'Prey tell why?' Eyebrow raising.
"Your just pieces of plastic in the shape of a human skull." Gesturing hand over to the air." I'm neck-deep into the Apocalypse. What have I decided to do? Hell, name you Billy and pour you a glass of vodka".
"Voice in my head. Just voice of reason to keep me in line. I know you're. Not real. And yet- "
Alex slumped forwarded buried his head into his hands. Letting out a humorless laugh
"I-I must have really lost my marbles out here. "whispered to himself brokenly.
'You're not crazy Alex. Just lonely.'
It's the truth. That made Alex grip the bottle take long swig.
