( ANYONE ELSE )"GOOD MORNING!" Rudy grinned, walking into Venus' LA apartment. Venus was on her couch with the tv on, but the real attention was on her phone as she typed away.
"Morning." she mumbled out, not really sparing her attention towards him.
They had finished filming just a couple of days before, and soon they all separated to their real homes. Although most of them lived in LA, some of the cast went to their hometowns to spend some time with their families. Venus grew up in California, so her entire family was there already, all she did when she was a bit younger was move to LA when she had enough to support herself. And now that she was a well known actor, she had more than enough.
Because of the whole fiasco in Hawaii, the now twenty-year-old completely missed her birthday, no one noticing it either way except the following she had on social media. Everyone was so focused on how Rylan and Corbyn were that the only ones that celebrated her birthday was her family who had facetimed her on the day. She didn't really care either way, with the guilt of snapping on Rylan weighing on her.
Venus felt horrible, and she had been feeling that for a whole month and a half. And now that it was July, she just wanted to go to Rylan's house and make things up with her. Rylan wasn't the type to hold grudges, but Venus knew that what she had said still hurt the younger girl, so she had to be fair and at least apologize.
"You could be a little more excited to see me." Rudy deadpanned, going to sit next to her. Venus didn't respond as she continued to message people on her phone. The boy just rolled his eyes before snatching the phone out of her hands and turning it off. Venus snapped her head towards him, narrowing her eyes as he threw the phone across the couch. "What's up with you?" He asked and Venus sighed, running a hand through her hair before meeting his eyes.
"It's this guilt I have. It's literally been eating me alive." She explained and Rudy raised his eyebrow.
"Guilt for what?"
"I yelled at Rylan because of kissing daniel." She released and Rudy raised his eyebrow. No one had known why Venus really was mad that day, which was why no one knew why she felt so bad.
"Why'd you yell at her?" Rudy asked and Venus sighed, not knowing how to explain it. Either way nothing justified what Venus had said to Rylan. And if she told Rudy why she snapped at Rylan, that was one more person knowing about her, what she still called small, feelings for Daniel.
"I don't know, everyone was mad because we didn't know why she had done it." Venus lied right through her teeth, pulling the sleeves of her shirt over her hands. Rudy raised his eyebrow as he watched her speak. He had known her long enough to know when she lied. He was observant like that, especially when it comes to Venus.
"Okay..." He trailed off, leaving the silence settle for a couple of moments before speaking again, "Now what's the real reason?"
"That is the real reason." Venus lied again, but she still refused to meet his eyes. If he didn't know she was lying already, looking at him would give him the answer right away.
"Venus, I've known you for a year, I know when you're lying." Rudy monotone and the girl sighed, messing around with the sleeves of her shirt.
"I told her about the..." She paused, taking in a deep breath before finishing her sentence, "feelings I have for Daniel twenty minutes before." Venus finally let out and Rudy nodded lightly. "And I know that I lied to you and told you that I didn't have feelings, I just didn't want anyone else knowing."
