JOSIE hummed to herself as "White Ferrari" by Frank Ocean played quietly from her small baby blue speaker, sitting in the corner of her long white desk. She sighed heavily, looking at the essay on her laptop she'd been trying to finish for the past couple of hours. "Why did I decide to go to college" She mumbled to herself, as she bit down on her bottom lip.
"Jo!" Reina called out, running from down the hall into Josie's room. Reina coughed slightly, crouching down as she rested her hands on her knees.
"Why were you running?" Josie chuckled, turning half her body as she looked at her best friend.
"I finally got a text back from Troy" Reina beamed, holding up her phone to see there was indeed a new message from Troy.
Reina and Troy had been an on and off thing for the longest time, but neither one of them had the balls to ask each other out officially. Josie and their entire friend group could tell the two were practically head over heels for each other, despite Reina claiming it was an "exaggeration". It wasn't. Everyone could see that Reina and Troy had an undeniable attraction for each other.
"I told you he wasn't ignoring you!" Josie huffed turning back towards her desk, closing her laptop shut.
"He said something about someone skating on it by accident, so I guess his screen cracked and he had to get it fixed" Reina said, throwing herself on Josie's bed.
Josie got up from her desk, sitting next to Reina as she unlocked her phone, most likely to text back Troy. She decided to go on her phone as well, grabbing it from her night stand seeing a text from her friend Jordan.

"You're coming with me tonight, right?" Reina asked, looking over at Josie as she sat up more on the bed.
"Going where?" Josie asked, raising an eyebrow at her.
"The boys' house, you said you were gonna go with me a couple days ago" Reina said, looking to see that Jordan and Josie were messaging each other. She glanced over quickly scanning the texts, groaning as she saw Josie's response.
"You aren't staying in tonight Josie. Give yourself a break" Reina spoke seriously, as she crossed her legs over each other's.
Josie sighed knowing partially that her friends were right but, also thinking how nice it would be to get some work out of the way.
"Okay okay, I'll text Jordan that we're coming" She gave in, responding to Jordan's text message. Reina smiled widely, starting to wrap her arms around Josie giving her a kiss on the cheek happily.
"Oh, did you know that there's a new boy moving into their house?" Reina spoke, pulling away from the hug and now standing up from the bed.
"Vinnie, remember him? Curly dirty blondish hair, has tattoos, skates" Reina described him. Josie somewhat remembered the boy, thinking they probably saw each other at parties or the skate park.
"I think so, he's moving in?" Josie asked, running a hand through her hair. Reina nodded her head, starting to leave Josie's room. "He's really nice, I honestly think you'd like him" She smiled slightly looking at Josie, leaving her room starting to walk back to her room.
Josie pursed her lips, watching her door after Reina left. She sighed, laying down on her pillow looking up at the ceiling. She missed spending time with her guy friends, and actually felt somewhat excited to see them tonight. Little did she know, she would soon be falling for the curly dirty blonde hair boy, that would be moving in with her friends.
