"A nights rest and a mornings tragedy"
They are walking up the stairs to Martha's apartment, all tired from what seemed a long day and Paul said as soon as they got to the door "Wait here.. I have to check the apartment to make sure it is safe..", Jessica and Martha nods their heads, Paul asks "Keys?.. please?.." and Martha realizes he isn't super-human and it would be bad to knock down her door considering a killer on the loose, saying while handling the keys to him and shaking her head with a bit of a giggle "I am sorry.. I was expecting you to knock down the door.. but we do not want to make it easy for the stalker-slash-killer, right?..", Jessica looking at Martha with a bit of a smile, looking away trying to not laugh, Paul grabbing the keys slowly, replying to her question "No, we don't.." but looks away real quick, drawing his gun, unlocking and opening the door slowly, entering as Jessica and Martha wait outside but Jessica looks at Martha and says "I see what you did there.. hahaha!" And Martha says while a man with a baseball cap coming out of the room way down the hall locks his door and heads their way walking slowly with his head down "Jessica, please.. He is cute but I am in a point in my life where I am being stalked by a serial killer who probably wants me dead..", Jessica replying "Probably.. but they'll catch him.. That is why they do their job..", Paul comes out and says "The ghost is clear..", they enter the room while the man walks down the stairs, out the door walking up to the detectives car, using a pick lock while standing there for a bit trying to unlock, successfully doing so and opens the door, hopping in, turns on the car hot wiring, driving off, wearing white rubber gloves.
Jessica sitting on the couch, leaned so far back saying with in relief "Man do I miss the comfort of soft and mellow furniture..", Martha shaking her head, walking into the kitchen but steps out real quick because the detective is talking on the phone with someone as he is saying "I swear to god, If you do not cut it out with this shit.. No! I am not going to put this woman and her friend in jeopardy BECAUSE YOU..ARE..JEALOUS! FUCK!" and throws his phone against the wall but Martha didn't enter the kitchen but went to sit with Jessica, Jessica looked over at Martha asking "What is wrong?..", Martha replies "Oh, nothing.. I am just tired is all..", smiling at Jessica while laying down at the other end, Jessica doing the same but at her end of the couch and the detective placing his hands on the sink, looking into the drain thinking way harder then he should be. Morning struck and Jessica saw something & screamed waking up Martha, asking what was wrong but she looked and screamed as Paul was hanged from the fan while spinning around with his eyes parshly opened, the police carrying out detective Paul under a white sheet, Jimmy asked while covering his mouth with a bit of a sad expression "What did you guys see?..", Jessica replied "I FUCKING WOKE UP AND SEEN HIM HANGED, SPINNING ON THE FAN LIKE HE WANTED US TO FIND HIM LIKE THAT!" and runs off but Martha calls her name, placing her hand on her forehead telling Jimmy "He was arguing last night on the phone with what seemed like his girlfriend he was talking to but I did not confront him. I felt uneasy digging in someone elses life affairs..", Jimmy nodding and saying "It might of been the killer because Pauls car was found outside of his wifes house with his wife also dead, Pauls clothes were wet so the evidence states he drove over there, killed her with his emergency gun & walked back to the apartment hanging himself.. but I don't believe that.. He loved his wife too much to do something so heartless..", Martha nodding, walking away.
