Chapter eight

Narrator Pov

As Xavier eyes the group of people in his mansion, all eyes were on them, while they stand with a murderous aura, Sofie rolled her eyes looking into the Auburn eyes of Xavier, the Mexican man clapped his hands making everyone went back to as they were and the music began playing, Kio and Sofie looked at each other before smirking, "Guys split up but stay close to your partners" Kio spoke making the others nod, Kio and Sofie walked towards the bar, "This is going to be interesting" Kio's sighed looking at the different options of alcohol, Sofie leaned on the counter watching as everyone here with a fake smile talking to the different Mafia leaders, some where just emotionless, some were flirting and some were just drinking and eating free food. The nineteen year old sighed, although it may look boring this was a dangerous party. 

Timeskip

Everyone was socializing with Sofie, Kio, Charli, Madison, and Ondreaz, they were getting contacts, links and making 'friends'. Xavier was on the second floor where he had the perfect view of everyone but his eyes remained on Sofie, he was intrigued, he looked at her outfit and the way she carried herself, but he was more interested on who she was and what's under the mask of hers, he signaled for the music to be lowered, making all attention look up to him, "Men, ladies welcome to the 66th mafia ball, thank you for coming and I will like to welcome to our new comers and welcome back to our ogs, please lets go in the ballroom and do what I invited you here for" Xavier's voice boomed through the room, everyone then gathered into the ballroom, the was bigger and wider, built in bar and speakers and a small stage, everyone filled the room while the Sofie and the other stick close, "Listen me carefully" Sofie's voice came out harsh and serious making the gang tense but they put their undivided attention to Sofie, "You will be dancing and in the dance you will have to switch partners and when you do, and I mean this harshly don't talk to nobody about who you are and which gang you are in" she spoke with a warning tone making everyone nod. "Well everyone you know  the rules, everyone split away from their dates, males go on one side and females go on one side" Xavier voice booms and everyone obeying, the music starts and every male walks towards a female, with their hand out, the females curtseys and accepted the hand, they gracefully entered the dance floor in a circle formation. As everyone dances they switched partners after the sound of a clap, this went on and on until Sofie was graced with Xavier, "Just the person I wanted to dance with" he spoke with an amused tone, Sofie was not fazed one bit, she just danced to the song while the red eyes of Xavier scanned her body. "Who are you m'lady" he spoke seductively, Sofie glanced at him looking him deep in his eyes, "I am what people will like to call a ghost" Sofie finally spoke, her voice coming out cold and dismissive, making Xavier even more drawn to her, "Then how did you get an invite here?" he asks curiously, "Guess you will have to wait to find out" Sofie spoke looking into the red eyes of Xavier, just as if it was on cue, they switched dance partners. Kio and Sofie was untied, "Oh hello" Kio spoke with an humorous tone which made Sofie almost smile, the two dance enjoying each others company, then 

CLAP

They switched and Sofie was greeted with Greek God, he had the handsome face, Sofie was amazed how one male could look like that, she gazed at his slick back black hair, then his face that was covered by a black mask, but she could see his black orbs that was staring deep into her blue eyes, her gaze then fell at his defined nose, then his plump lips and then his sharp jawline. Although Sofie was captivated she never should interest in him because she didn't know who he was, "Sei così bello" his words flow through her ear, he said it so lowly but she could hear him, and she could also hear his italian accent, "Grazie" she spoke keeping her voice a void of emotion, she could see his eyes widen but they went back to normal quickly as they came.

"Who are you bella?" he asked looking into Sofie's eyes for any signs of emotions but they weren't any, he was drawn to her because he didn't know who she was, and he couldn't read her, she was a huge mystery with a murderous aura and glare. "I am what they will call ghost" she spoke the same way she did with Xavier, "Hmm I don't know about that one, see I can't physically dance with a ghost" he spoke a little humorously, "Well then guess you have your work set out for you" she spoke making him smirk, the dance was over but they didn't part from each other, they were just looking into each others eyes like it was a staring match, "Bye now" Sofie spoke walking away from him.

Xavier made an appearance on the stage while Sofie was walking over to her friends. "Welcome all to the 66th mafia ball, for the little new comers, I am Xavier Romero, Leader of the Mexican Mafia, it is a pleasure to have you all here tonight, but what I am even more excited for is to see who are the most powerful mafia group tonight and who is world's most powerful men and women here tonight, because we all know that it ain't the government who run this world!" Xavier loudly making everyone cheer, "It's us the criminals, the murders, the thieves, we are what make this world save and dangerous and because this they are afraid" Xavier's tone taunted the audience making everyone excited but Charli and Madison scared, "Now lets see who are the top five Mafia group" Xavier spoke looking at an red envelop, he named the names of the mafia group and the leader/s went on the stage to making everyone clap for them, "And in second is- The Italian Mafia!" Xavier spoke with fear written in his eyes, the same Greek God that Sofie danced with is the man that walked on the stage with a murderous gaze, "Matteo De Luca" Xavier introduced the man making everyone clap, "And in first, for the first time ever we have a tie between the Demonic Angels and The Deadly Sins" Xavier spoke with an excited tone, everyone in the room was shocked but they cheered, "Tonight for the first time ever welcome the leaders of the Demonic Angels and The Deadly Sins" Xavier spoke with excitement, "C'mon guys" Sofie spoke but no one moved, "Sofie they are planning something and we don't know what it is you go up there while we stay together, they are more safe with me" Kio spoke making Sofie nod.

As Sofie graced the stage the place fell silent, she walked over to the Mexican who was staring at her, she folded her arms, as the room was in silence, "Who are you?" the man asked making Sofie smirk, "I am a Mafia queen of two of the best Mafias ever what does else does it look like" she asked making everyone slowly clap for her...
