Chapter 1

I grew up in a normal,comfortable and loving home. I had a life that even kid in my neighborhood wished to have...they used to look up to me.

I was raised by my grandparents from a very young age ,probably months as I've been told.They gave me everything I needed,they never allowed me to lack of anything so I felt no space,actually I had no space for my parents whom I didn't even know the reason for them to give me up the way they did,they gave me up without no explanation,without coming to check up on me but all of did really didn't bother me because I had it all.

Years and years became by as I was still happy and comfortable.At the age of five years in 2005 my grandmother died who happened to be the pillar of the family. She's the one who held the whole family together..the woman who treated me like own,the one who would fix everyone's problems and make peace within the family.

After her death everything became chaos,family meetings after the other,the arguments,fights,hatred so slowly but surely I started feeling the gap ,the tension and all that stuff so my life changed drastically and it was unbearable.

My grandfather's life also had to change after losing the loved one. Afterall the man lost the mother of his children;the one whom he thought that and hoped to grow old with and die with but their fate was twisted so I can't say that I blamed the man for changing...for not being the man I used to know. He became miserable,lonely  and uneasy to approach and that was exactly what I felt as well. The man had to become a father and mother to me,he had to play both roles to me yet that didn't bother my parents at all because if it did they could've fetched me to stay with them but they didn't.

Other family members suggested to my grandfather to send me away But he refused and made me his prior..he vowed to raise me up. Everyday at any given time I always thank God for giving me such person. He's an Angel sent from heaven,He's my guardian Angel so I'm thankful. Glory be to Almighty God.

The riches we had,I mean the livestock

NB:in Lesotho if you have many livestock you are considered to be one of the richest in the country,because livestock is one of the things that contributes in the country's economy as well as agriculture.

We had all of those so we were considered to be the richest. Believe me when I say I lived the life that many wished to have in my neighborhood but we lost all that in the blink of an eye,life will amaze you I'm telling from the experience ...once you had it all but loose it all in a second as if you've never had anything.
