The Crucial Decision (Dlive x Entoan)

Friends 'til the end!

~Dlive's POV~
"Emo"
"Freak"
"Who even is that?"

I look at them all in shock, Cry accompanying me by shooting the same glances.
"You guys can be worse than bullies sometimes." Cry says disgusted. Many muffled 'What's and 'How are we's came from the crowd.
"Just listen to yourself! Those nicknames could really hurt someone."

"Yeah, but he never heard them." I heard someone amongst them say.
"WHAT IF HE DID!?" Cry's voice turned more high pitched and started to shout louder.

Most of the crowd in front of us shrugged their shoulders and started a new conversation.

Suddenly, a ringtone pierced through the conversation and I noticed it was mine. I read the message sent, from Entoan, inviting me to his new friends place. I sigh and reply with a 'Sure'.

"I have to go."
"Where?" Cry asks, concerned.

"None of your business!" I exclaim mockingly, and rush out the door saying bye, whilst they carry on talking.

---Time Skip---

I lean against the towering oak tree, 'This was where he asked me to meet right?' I scanned the park, not to see Entoan anywhere, but to see a guy who was slightly smaller than me walk towards me. I don't recognise him...
"Hey!" He says in a deep, brittish accent.

"Hi... Umm... No offense bit do I know you?" I ask, shyly.
"No... But I know Entoan, and I know you're looking for him because he invited you along!" The male says, with a beam on his face. My eyes are wide open and my mouth is opening and shutting, trying to say something.

"....O-Okay?" I murmur, still rather confused. He gestures for me to come with him and I follow him as he leads me to his dorm.
"In here!" He opens the door for me to see 2 taller guys sat on the sofa with Entoan whilst they lose to him in Mario Kart. They seem really into it and annoyed they keep losing, whilst Entoan laughs hysterically at their attempts.

I muffle a giggle and manage to say "Hey."

Entoan turns to me and smiles, his eyes sparkling. Something inside me is glad that he's ok, and with his smile, my face mimics it with a wider grin.

"Dlive! Ok, let me introduce you!"

He points to the guy next to me "That's Trott, and these two are Ross and Smiffy!" He says with a smile. The two taller males wave at me, hope in their eyes.

"Hey!" I say waving back at them both.
"Dlive, would you care to help me in the kitchen?" Trott asks, wandering through the door to the right. Nodding at him, I quickly follow him. He pops popcorn in the microwave and sits in on the counter, staring at me.
"We need to talk... About Entoan."

I stare at him. "Anything that concerns him can be told in front of him."

Trott slides off the table and looks me right in the eye.
"He was crying... When we met. He was running and ran into me." Trott says in a serious tone. "I asked him what about and he said 'Names', ring any bells?"

I look at him in shock and then my eyes fall to the floor. A sigh escapes my mouth as i feel swirls form in my stomach.
Guilt.
He did hear them...

I look at Trott and say "It does... Let me explain."

And the happenings of the past flew out of my mouth, words lingering in the air. I felt relieved, relieved I could tell someone, even if I just met them.
"You didn't join in did you? It's just, it happened to me too with my old friends, I'd feel torn apart."

For a few minutes, we stayed in silence. "No, me and Entoan are close friends, I'd never hurt him!"
Crap. That sounds like I have feelings for him.

I mentally facepalm myself as i wait for the smaller males response.

Trott nods his head and enters the living room with the bowl of popcorn, a forced smile on his face; I do the same.
