My shadow was my home
Where in darkness
I resided.
Thinking about life
Love and happiness
But all that ever struck me was infinite
Darkness and sadness
I lived and lived on without a doubt
Suffering and yet living
Life was a curse.. But not bigger than
Not bigger than the curse of being alone
And then you came
Like wind in summer time
A breeze so cool
A light so warm
A sound so soothing and you
You held my cold hand
Took me away to light
Where.. Where I understood what life was
All my questions answered
My life fulfilled
Your smile filled the blank space In my heart
Your voice revived me
To be some one I never could be
Never would be without you
And you keep me on..
To this path.. Where my life balances
To be of light and dark
And all we ever do is smile at each other
