It was one those days in South Park, when the sky was clear but it was chilly all the same, well, it was always fuckin cold in this snowy little mountain town. Not that The New Kid cared that much, he always preferred a crisp snowy atmosphere rather than a heated one. something about the air maybe. it was nearing the end of the day anyway, well it was 3pm and it was the end of school day where everyone barged out of their classrooms to exit South Park High and continue on with their lives; Whether that be talking behind each others back, head to the cemetery to continue brooding, or play games in the streets. that's what The New Kid have gathered in his few years at South Park, but he plays a different sought of game, along with some others. And so he walks alone to his house to get ready for tonight's patrol, though to be frank he was quite sick with the so called "game" after the traumatizing events that happened a few years back, the type of events that reinforces that apathetic look on The New Kid's face and make people think he's emotionless or heartless. but he cared for quite a bit actually, not that he wanted to show people that. He kept his friend group small, such as Leopold Stotch, although people just called him Butters, his first real friend in South Park and he vowed to himself that he would protect the small blonde. Scott Malkinson, The New Kid didn't really know Scott's personal life all that well but he was genuinely kind the first time they met and continued to have a stable partnership during their current superhero phase. Wendy Testaburger, she was probably the most badass girl The New Kid has ever met and they both have saved each others hides on more than one occasion. Though he never talks, Wendy could almost understand The New Kid, seeing past his blank look and offered to talk. well he gave the occasional shrug or tilted head. And last but not least was Kenny McCormick. Kenny is different which is a complete understatement as he was almost a anomaly to The New Kid. He's seen that boy die numerous times but nobody else seems to remember this fact other than him; that he knows of. Kenny was fun to hangout with, on patrol or not, he was the one to show The New Kid around during The Stick of Truth LARP game that the mute quickly became a part of all those years back. Unlike some others, The New Kid never made fun out of Kenny's situation of being poor or his family's condition or even looked disgusted when he first went into Kenny's home. The New Kid actually had a small secret, whilst on patrol he would swing by the McCormick's residence with bags of hot food, leaving them at the door and returning into the night without a sound being made. He didn't do this because he felt pity on them, but because Kenny was a good friend and he and his siblings deserve better than they've got.

Whilst walking across the partially snow covered pavement, The New Kid dug his hands into the pockets of his grey hoodie, cursing himself silently for forgetting his gloves because of the fact he woke up later than he should and almost missed the bus. Wouldn't kill his parents to do there job once in a while. During his walking, The New Kid got lost in a train of thoughts, not hearing rushing footsteps and someone calling him out; but realized when he saw someone in a orange parka skid past him almost slipping on the icy concrete, but managed to catch themselves just before they did. "Hey man, I just shouted at you like a million times and had to run to catch your tall ass! ~" Kenny says, with his hands on his knees, catching his breath. The New Kid would make a comment that he wasn't that much taller than the blonde in front of him, but alas, he was mute. The only response Kenny got was a few pats of the back and common shrug from his friend. "I thought we were gonna head to the arcade today, dude, your not slumping off on me are yah? ~" Kenny says whilst looking into New Kids dull (E/C) eyes. To be honest, yes, he forgot Kenny's proposition earlier, being distracted by everything that's going on his mind. So, he gave Kenny a head tilt, making the said blonde slightly blush behind his tightly closed hood because that was kinda cute, even though New Kid does these actions nearly everyday. "Well I made the effort of catching up to ya, so you might as well treat me by taking me to play some Red Racer before we do you know what tonight.~" In any other context that would of sounded perverted, which is very much like Kenny, but he probably says things this way to install secrecy for Freedom Pals. The New Kid found the idea of going to the arcade fun, it'll take his mind of current events in his life and some other bullshit to happen in the future so he simply nodded and started walking in the direction towards the Mall.

"Can't believe how quickly they rebuilt this place after the whole Nazi zombie alien goo shit that was leaked here. ~" Kenny says as both boys walked around the busy shopping centre, pushing past people to get to the arcade, quickly seeing the neon lights and hearing multiple game sounds in the distance. The New Kid was practically dragged by Kenny through the mall until they stood outside the entrance where three other teenagers waited; Stan, Kyle and... Cartman. By the gods, The New Kid fuckin' hated Cartman with a rage. "Argh, dude weak! Why the fuck did you bring Douchebag along Kenny!? He's just going to stare blankly at everything and creep everybody out like he always does! ~" The New Kid almost forgot about his first name when he arrived here, "Douchebag", and along with people making fun at how he styled his hair. Not that he saw anything abnormal about it, but it made his first few weeks in South Park hell. Kenny lets go or The New Kid's wrist and gave Cartman a look of disdain and was about to say something back but as always, Kyle beat him to berate the other. "Shut your mouth fatass! stop being a dick and calling him that, no one calls him that anymore...~ " The New Kid and Stan watched the bickering nonchalantly, the latter probably being able to recital each word they say in his sleep. The five of them finally went into the luminous depths of the arcade to go waste their chump change. A little secret; The New Kid actually gets change from smashing parking meters. And yes The Freedom Pals still have no clue who it is.

Kenny's POV

We all near enough went our separate ways but The New Kid stuck with me, which is totally fine, we was planning to come here together anyway... even though he forgot. That boy confuses the hell out of me sometimes, but I cant help but feel sorry for him for how we treated him all those years ago, I still feel like shit sometimes because of that. Maybe that's why he still haven't opened up to us yet. My teenage angsty thoughts were interrupted by a nudge on my shoulder. I looked to my left to see The New Kid pointing at the "Red Racer" game, a small smile dawning on his face. That stunned the hell out of me like Holy tap dancin' Christ, what the fuck! its like seeing a diamond in the rough. I would of had my mouth forcibly closed if I didn't have my hood up. after my small (Gay) panic we both sat down and gripped the steering wheels - Both were worn and old from years of use and pieces of the material was picked off. It was when I realized I didn't have money on me to pay for my half of the share, I hate grovelling like this "Ah shit... hey man, I don't mean to leach off yah like this, but uh, do you mind if I borrow a couple of coins? I wont take offence if yah say no. ~" I honestly wouldn't mind, when I came often as a kid I would mainly watch the others play. I saw him reach into his pockets and pull out a bunch of loose change; does he carry that everywhere with him? Oh well. The New Kid held out his hand to me and so I did the same, feeling him drop the coins in my hand I heard them clink together in my palm. "Thanks my man, I'll find a way to pay you back and I'm not a guy that is comfortable being in debt - I pinkie promise. ~" It was my turn to hold out my hand, and well, extend my pinkie which he immediately wrapped his around mine, but The New Kid shrugged, indicating he wasn't that bothered. but it was too late, I always keep my promises. 'sooner or later I'll pay yah back man. ~' I thought to myself. We both finally turned back to the game and put the coins through the slots, quickly seeing the screen light up and a Retro styled title appeared, alongside side a soundtrack that set nostalgia trips in motion.

"I hope your prepared to get your ass whooped, boyo. ~"
