Our eyes locked on each other. My heart skips a beat, and I could tell that his did to. And I knew that we were meant to be. No no no no! Anyone but him! Oh god, please tell me this is a joke... He smirked at me and started heading my way. I freaked out and broke free from Damon's arm. I ran in the other direction, and Damon must've seen the look of pure terror in my eyes, as he let me go. I ran as fast as I could into the woods. I look back and see Elias chasing after me, full sprint.

"Wait!", he yells after me. I don't stop, and I keep on running deeper and deeper into the evergreen. In my hassle to get away, I don't notice the steep hill drop coming up in front of me. I yelp as I plummet downhill. Dropping fast, it didn't take me long to reach the bottom. It was only then did I notice that Elias also dropped down with me. He crashed on me and I let out a gasp. I sit up, removing my face from the ground. My head throbs, and I rub my hand on my forehead.

"God jeez! Am I that terrifying?", he asks, annoyed by my reaction. Serves him right. Bet he's never had a girl run away in fear of him before. They all just swoon over him. I vowed to myself that I would never let him manipulate me like that.

I get up, ignoring his hand as he asks for help to stand. He grunts in annoyance, and I find that I liked the noise. He sits up, his elegant and expensive new clothes all matted and dirty from the fall.

"You ignorant little-", I turn away and run behind a nearby tree, casting an invisibility spell. "What? Where'd you go? C'mon, I didn't mean it.." He went to the tree where I hid, and noticed that I was gone. I smirk a smirk he couldn't see, and he grinds his teeth together. I start to walk up the hill back to Damon. Elias hears the crunches of the leaves that I made when I walked, and he follows the noise-

He grips my invisible arm and whips me around to face him. The invisibility spell wears off and I am now face to face with Elias once again. He has a look in his eyes, as if he's reading my emotions. Fear, realization, relief, happiness, anger, all happening at once. My heart twists as I look into his beautiful brown-gold eyes. I blush a bit, and he takes in the wrong way. Still gripping my wrist, he leans in and puckers his stupid face. Anger eliminates all other emotion as I realize what he's doing. A snarl rose from my chest, and I slap him hard in the face with my free hand. My nose wrinkles and I let my teeth show. He lets go of my wrist, his face snapping to the right fast as my blow hits him. There's a slight red mark on his right cheek, and I gaze at it proud.

That was his last straw. His face turns bright red, not from the slap this time. As is in slow motion, he turns to me, his nose wrinkling and his teeth baring. He changes into his wolf form, and lunges at me. Surprised, I get knocked to the ground. Surprise doesn't stay for long as I transform into my wolf form and snap at him. He knocks me onto my back and pins me down. I try to snap at his face but he just moves his head back out of the way. I snarl at him again.

"Can't take a girl rejecting you, huh?", I mock him. And his eyes widen as he hears my voice for the first time. I take my chance and push him off, hard. He flies off me and skids across the ground. I pounce on him, knocking the breath out of him. I claw at his chest and neck, and he yelps in surprise and fury. While I'm clawing at him, he reaches up and bites my muzzle. Struggling, I whip my head back and forth. Finally, I smack my claws on his face, ripping and tearing at it, desperate to escape. He lets go and slumps to the ground. I run away, only looking back to see his body laying, slightly motionless. I get scared and run faster.

(She finds her shirt even more matted, her pants in a similar condition. She then quickly slips them on)

I make it back to the party, and all the werewolves there are to busy chatting and having a good time that they didn't notice me and my bloody nose and dirty fur. I quickly regard the crowd and see Damon in the far corner of the yard. I see someone else with him as well, but I don't pay much attention to it. Only when I get closer do I realize the she-wolf with him. He doesn't even realize I'm here. I growl at the she-wolf but she doesn't notice a thing either. They're to busy making out to notice me standing there covered in blood and dirt. Feeling worn out, I let it go, and walk away. I sigh, and run towards my car.

He won't need a ride from me, he'll most likely get a ride from that other wolf. I was glad that he found someone he seemed happy with. Unlike me who was stuck with that jacka- I stop midway on that thought. The memory of him lying there, covered in dirt and blood flashed through my head. He didn't seem right in that place. All defeated and bloody on the ground. An Alpha was someone you looked up to- someone who was strong. And at the moment, Alpha King Elias wasn't so threatening anymore. I smile to myself, numbing the pain of the image. Surely he wasn't dead, right?

No. He couldn't be. I wouldn't allow that. Starting up the car, I head down the road. The car ride back wasn't as relaxing as the car ride over here was. For some reason, I was really worried about Elias. And it felt like my eyebrows were sculpted into a furrow forever now.

Go back to him, now. My wolf growled at me. We need to make sure he's okay! I brush off her worries and continue down to my house. I thought I heard a howl from the distance, but I brushed it off. It was starting to get dark, and my wolf turned on our night vision.

--Arriving at her house--

3rd person POV:

She arrives at her house, exhausted and ready for bed. She flips on the lights, and she notices something is off. A new smell fills the house, and it leads to her room. She walks there cautiously, her wolf ready to burst out once again at the intruder. But what she finds is something she did not expect.

Elias, perfectly seated on her bed, flashed her a perfect smile.

Hello! I'm sorry, I forgot to sign off on my last chapter. I was in such a rush to get a chapter out that I completely forgot to sign it off and say thanks! Also, sorry for the shorter chapter. I wanted to get another one out. And making all my chapters 2,000 words long is kind of hard lol.

(Don't forget to leave a vote please it would really help :))

By the way: here's a shout-out to my first ever voter!

Thank you, Loveme105 for my first ever vote! It really made my day and I appreciate you greatly :)
