• So,on the very top of your paper it should be you name and near the name you should put a picture of you.
• Under your name you have to write if you are in a union or not (if you are in a union,just write "Union",if you are not so write "Non Union").
• After that,you have to write your phone number and your email,in that way they can call you.
• Under,you write your height,your weight/dress or jacket size (this is optional),age/type,your eyes color,your hair color and your vocal range (this is also optional)
• So under all those informations you have to put the films or commercials that you did put if you are doing this resume for your first film,you don't have to put that.
• You have 4 main sections that concern acting,these are:
• FILM
• TELEVISION
• COMMERCIALS
• THEATER
• If you are doing your acting resume for a film,then you are going to put the "FILM" first,if you are doing for a commercial,then you are going to put "COMMERCIALS" first,and like that.
• For the FILMS that you did,you are going to put the Name of the Film,the Type of Role that you had and also his name and the Production Company/director (the name of the director of the film).
• For the TELEVISION that you did, you are going to put the Name of the Show,the Type of Role that you had and also his name and the Television Network.
• For the COMMERCIALS that you did, you are going to put On Camera/Voiceover experience and also *List available upon request.
• For the THEATER that you did,you are going to put the Name of the Show, the Type of Role that you had and also his name and the Theater/Director.
• After that comes the TRAINING
• For the TRAININGS that you have done,you can put the Name of the Class but that's optional,the Type of Class and the Name of the Coach.
That's why you have to keep always update your acting resume,like that if you did another class,you can put it on your resume,and the director will appreciate that you have done some classes.
• After that comes the SPECIAL SKILLS
• For the SPECIAL SKILLS you have to put all the things that you can do like a Fluent Languages,accents,if you can play some instruments,sports,etc.
Pay attention that on your SPECIAL SKILLS you put things that you are able to do.
If you put things that when you did them you're not confident with them you shouldn't put them on your acting resume.
