This is a special holiday to in honor of our Indian friends Prince Soma and Agni.
Diwali is a 5 day celebration in which I don't really know how to celebrate it. This is the best I researched. Not the best.
"Hello my friends! It is great to see you." Soma said as he came into the Phantomhive manor unannounced with Agni following behind.
"Hey it is Prince Soma and Agni. What brings you here?"
"Don't you know? It is almost Diwali!"
"Um... What is this Diwali?" Mey-rin said.
"Yeah, what do you do?"
"Diwali is a holiday that is celebrated where we come from. There are 5 days of celebration. It is a day where our inner light is to get rid of spiritual darkness thus can be known as the Festival of Lights.
The first day is a day of cleaning and decorating. It is a day where buying things such as utensils, silver coins, and gold. It is also the birth of the Sri Dhanvantari god.
The second day is when people are supposed to take a holy bath to clean or wear new clothes and enjoy the breakfast with friends and family.
The third day is a day where everyone gather for Lakshmi puja. Lakshmi puja is a prayer to Lakshmi, the goddess of wealth and fortune. There are also fireworks, meals, and more.
The fourth day is to show respect for Lord Krishna victory to Indra by lifting the Govardhan mountain.
The fifth and last day is sibling bonding.
We came here to visit you friends to see if you want to participate in the wonderful event." Agni explained.
"Well that seems exciting."
"Yeah. That holiday you speak of is fun!"
"Ho, ho, ho."
"Are you going to participate in the fun Bard?"
"Yeah, sure. Why not?"
"That is great! Let's see Ciel and see what he wants to do."
"Get away, I have work to do. There is no room for me to celebrate anything. Sebastian I order you to keep the prince away from me while I am working."
"Yes my lord."
"Don't forget that Diwali is starting tomorrow." Soma said as he was kicked out of the building.
First Day: Dhanteras
"This seems fun!"
"You accepted the holiday to get out of tutoring didn't you."
"Well... Yes that is true. Why are there so many rules such as elegance? Can't girls not learn how to defend themselves? I know for sure that Lizzy takes fencing lessons with her brother and others. A protegee in the art of sword fighting. All I care around that is sort of beneficial is a perform bottle."
"Why would you need a perform bottle miss Ruby?"
"To spray the scent into a stranger's eye in case they are going to harm me in some way. Other than that, I do own a special bow."
"Ok... What are you going to buy today at the market?"
"Yeah. What are you going to get?"
"I have a question why you don't have a maid with you."
"They are gifts to you. Also, I refuse help from a servant. I am capable to do most things independently like cooking and dressing myself. Along horseback, archery, being literate, and so on."
"Seems reasonable." M/n said looking at the displays.
'I want to have that cat statue' Sebastian thought to himself looking at a figurine.
"Achoo! Why are there cats nearby?"
"Maybe it is that fact that this market area is outside near some alleys."
"Meow."
Second Day: Naraka Chaturdasi
"Good morning! I invited Lizzy to come here."
"Hi everyone!"
"Lizzy... what a surprise?"
"I am so happy that I get to spend some time with my cousins."
"We made rangoli outside."
"Yeah, M/n taught us guys how to make this design pattern for the holiday." Finny said pointing to where the rangoli was.
"Yes it is a beautiful artwork."
"I didn't really participated in the fun."
"At least it was better than doing what Tanaka did during our break."
"He did nothing but drink his hot water garden."
"Exactly."
"Ha, ha, ha. Ruby, it is nice to meet you and Elizabeth."
"Call me Lizzy. Can you tell me all about Diwali? Is that why there are so many lights around?"
Agni explains the holiday and Soma spent most of his time with the servants, Lizzy, and Ruby because Ciel and Sebastian avoided them.
Third Day: Lakshmi Puja
Agni, Soma, and Ruby prayed to Kakshmi because Finny, Bard, Mey-rin, and M/n were busy with work. However, they did met at night to light up fireworks and fly lanterns.
Fourth Day: Govardhan Puja
"The more the merrier."
"Yeah, I get to help cook the food!"
"Sure thing chief." M/n and Ruby saluted to Bard.
Fifth Day: Bhai Dooj
"What do we do if you don't have a sibling?" Ruby asked.
"Oh right... sibling bonding day. Well I was raised on the streets so I don't what to do with that situation. Jan and Hao were my closest friends, but I don't know where they are."
"I don't know where my family are."
"I had a brother, but he was killed due to being a traitor. All I know is that he has a daughter. Maybe I should sent her a letter if I get the chance."
"Right I remember, this is London. My family is way back in India. I should have sent early gifts to my siblings even if I don't really spend most of my time with them."
There wasn't anyone participating in Devotthan Ekadashi and Tulsi Vivah.
"Thank you guys for making the holidays special to us! You friends are the best."
"Get a handkerchief would you. Get off of me. Cough cough cough."
"I am sorry are you alright."
Ciel left the worried Indians.
"Ciel looks fine except you guys who got fooled in an act of faking an asthma attack."
"Well I will be leaving. I have dancing lessons along with table manners and playing the piano. See you again!" Ruby said before taking her horse and rode her back to her home.
