The words repeated them selves in my head, over and over again. When i turned 18, My 'red thread' appeared. At times i felt a tug, sometimes i felt it stretch. But like they always say, It will never break. How ever as of right now, It was calm. I was about to start playing a game of among us, with some of my friends, and they had told me that someone new was joining, someone who went by some weird name. "Whos joining again?" I asked, putting my head set on properly. "Corpse" Rae responded. I felt a slight tug, except it wasn't from who ever was at the end of the string, but because of me. Why was this name making me so.. nervous? I shrugged it off. "I hope you guys don't mind if i stream, honestly too lazy to edit this later." I said, and laughed.
"That's fine y/n, Most of us are streaming anyway, corpse is too." When i heard the name, i felt a tug once more. What was happening? "When are they joining?" I asked, feeling my heart beat faster. "Any minute now" Poki said happily. I gulped "Okay" I said, and calmed myself down a little. I saw a character pop up on my screen, a black character with Horns and a suit. My heart raced faster then before, and i felt my thread tug at its self over and over again, as if who ever was at the other end was trying to pull me towards them. I tugged back, expecting another tug in response but got nothing. Everything suddenly went silent. "Corpse?" Felix asked. "Corpse-?" Sykkuno asked again.
"Where are you?" I heard a deep voice say suddenly. My eyes widened. Could it be him? "I- I'm-" I couldn't form a sentence, my words caught in my throat. "Who-?" Sykkuno asked confused. I felt a harsh tug on my thread, and saw a red light circling around my finger, over and over again. I touched it slightly, and i felt a shiver go down my spine. "Is that you?" I heard a voice say, It sounded clear as day. I looked around, expecting to see where it had come from, but saw nothing. I looked to my computer, and saw the new guest was in fact, on mute. "Yeah.. i think it is." I said quietly, putting my hand out and seeing a light spark out of my finger, and out of my apartment. I closed my eyes slightly, only to see someone standing in the distance, It seemed so far. I opened my eyes, and i was back in my desk chair.
I put my headset down, and jumped up. I ran out my apartment, feeling tugs at my thread, and followed the now visible red thread, that grew as i walked with it.

I ran out of my apartment building, and i felt rain hit me, over and over again. I pushed people out of my way, running to follow the thread. I suddenly stopped, the rain became silent, but i could still see it hitting off of people around me, i looked around, seeing the string had stopped expanding. I turned around and looked down, and suddenly the rain hitting me- had stopped. I looked up, to see an umberella over my head. I turned around, my head still low, and looked at my thread. I raised my hand, following the little thread, and suddenly it stopped.
I gulped, and saw where it had stopped. Around another finger. I let out a deep breath, suddenly aware of what was happening. "It's you" I heard, the voice deeper then it was before. "It's you.." I said quietly, looking up, and seeing his eyes. I felt my heart sink, and i couldn't keep my eyes off of his. I felt tears in my eyes, and his eyes seemed red, as if he had been crying. I took a deep breath, at the same time as him, and my eyes stayed still on his. Everything went white. Brighter then i'd ever seen anything before in my life.. I heard laughter, I heard screaming, i heard talking, I felt as if my whole life was flashing before my eyes, I blinked, and suddenly the rain was replaced with blue skys, I turned around, seeing i was on a feild. "Come on!" I heard someone yell, seeing a small child run past me, followed by another. I looked up, and saw i was wearing a white outfit, and looked to where the man once was, and saw him walk towards me, in dry clothes, his hair covered his eyes, and i reached my hand up to his face, and i let out a silent gasp.
I brushed the hair out of his eyes, and once i saw them i was suddenly back where i was before, I heard rain drops in every direction, people walking around and the man infront of me looking into my eyes as if if he looked away it would be the end of the world. "Did you just.." I said quietly, he chuckled "Yeah.." He said quietly in return. "Can i..?" He asked, looking down at my lips and back at my eyes. I laughed "Yeah.." I said quietly. The umberella dropped to the floor, and i felt rain drop onto me once more, He chuckled and put his hands on my waist, pulling me closer to him, i immediately put my arms around his neck, and i felt his lips on mine.
We pulled apart after a slight moment, I opened my eyes and looked into his, almost as if i knew right then and there that he was the one. And he was.
