Too Many Distractions

Chan left Hyunjin's room and went to the front door to slip on his shoes before heading out to the car. "I need to head to the studio today," Chan said as he hopped in the car. Their manager smiled as he nodded his head driving off.

"What time should I expect to pick you and Jisung up this afternoon?" He asked.

"Probably early evening we have a lot of things to work out today," Chan told him.

"Alright, just shoot me a text letting me know then," He said looking at Chan through the rearview mirror.

Chan nodded with a quiet hum. A smile plastered on his face. "Will do." For the rest of the ride he sat quietly in the back listening to some rough drafts he had on his phone that were sent to him by Jisung. He was trying to work out the melodies beforehand so they could have more time to do what he wanted to do today.

After a while Chan arrived at the JYP building and immediately headed up towards the recording room where he found Jisung sitting at the desk with he headset on bobbing his head to whatever he was listening to, while clicking on some stuff. He approached him quietly and stood behind him for a minute.

When Jisung turned around he screamed and jumped a mile high. "What the fuck hyung!?" Jisung yelled placing a hand over his heart and panting like a dog. "I almost had a heart attack you jerk!" Jisung said hitting Chan.

Chan let the younger hit him. "Okay okay. I'm sorry," Chan laughed. "I worked out some melodies and harmonies for the lyrics with the sounds and stuff," Chan said taking the seat next to him.

"Oh good, that means we can leave early today," Jisung said excited.

Chan nodded pulling out his infamous laptop, that every stay on the face of the earth, is trying to steal. "Shall we begin then?" Chan asked logging on.

Jisung nodded and put the headset back on as he continued to edit the music. He danced a little as he edited, adding different types of sounds caused different dances.

Chan became distracted. He tried not to watch the younger dance in his seat, but it was absolutely adorable and he couldn't help but glance at him from time to time.

Jisung blushed as he noticed Chan watching him. "What? I was feeling the song," Jisung said a bit embarrassed.

"No, please. Don't stop on my account. I just thought it was cute and wanted to watch," Chan replied going back to his laptop.

Jisung huffed and went back to what he was doing.

About an hour passed when Jisung needed Chan's opinion. "Hyung," He said. "Can you listen to this and let me know if I should add or take away some things?"

"Sure," Chan said moving the chair a little closer. He slipped the headset on and Jisung pressed the run button. Chan immediately began bobbing his head in time with the rhythm. "No, I wouldn't change a thing it sounds good, really good actually," Chan smiled as he handed Jisung back the headset.

"Okay I worried it wouldn't sound good," Jisung said with a little laugh.

Chan went back to his laptop and tried to focus on his work.

Jisung stood to stretch since his legs were growing numb and his arms needed a break from sitting in the same position for three hours. He bent over to touch his toes occasionally to get the blood flowing.
