Chapter 5

I was awoken the next day to Niall and Ceecee knocking on my bedroom door. I got up out of Louis' grasp and opened the door.

"Hey Rissa, I know you two were still asleep, but everyone was wondering if you two wanted to join us for breakfast? We are going to go the the diner around the corner."

I put my finger up, as a sign for them to wait right there for a second, and walked over to my bed. I sat next to where Louis was laying, and I woke him up. "Louis, everyone wants to know if we want to join them for breakfast." I whispered to him.

He rolled over to where he was facing away from me. "Lou, get up!!" Harry yelled as he burst through the door.

Louis threw his pillow at Harry and got up, annoyed with everyone.

"Is that a 'yes' that you're going to breakfast with us all?" Niall asked very carefully, not to get a pillow thrown at his face.

"No, I want to go back to sleep." Louis said sounding half-asleep still.

"Okay, well the rest of us are going out." I said. "Lay back down and go back to sleep." I whispered to him as I handed him the pillow he threw at Harry. I turned back to everyone else, "I'm gonna get ready, I'll be down in about 10 minutes."

"Okay." everyone chorused at the same time.

I got dressed and brushed my teeth and put my hair up, not even bothering to put makeup on. I grabbed my purse, and looked at Louis, seeing he was fast asleep again. I walked over to him and gave him a kiss on the cheek and went downstaris.

We all piled in Harry's car, and drove to the diner. We all ate our food, and joked about everything. When we were getting ready to leave, Anney suggested that us girls go out shopping. Ceecee and I agreed and Harry dropped us off at the mall.

Louis P.O.V.

I woke up to an empty bed. I remember waking up this morning, but nothing that happened when I was awake. Well, the bed wasn't completely empty. I realled over to Rissa's side and saw a little piece of paper. it read,

Louis,

Good morning sleepy head. I'm out with everyone for breakfast. Don't worry if I'm back late, that just means that we must have gone somewhere else. Call me when you are fully awake.

Love, Rissa

I read the note and heard someone walk in the house downstairs figuring I woke up at the perfect time. I walked downstairs to only be greeted by the boys. "Where are the girls?" I asked Harry.

"They went shopping." Niall answered for him.

I shook my head and walked back upstairs to grab my phone.

I called Rissa, but all I got was a busy signal.

Rissa's P.O.V.

Louis must have still been sleeping, since he hadn't called me. Ceecee grabbed a silver dress from the clothes rack and held it up for Anney and I to see it. It was all glitter and looked like it would be an itchy dress to wear. I made a funny face at it and Anney laughed at my face and Ceecee laughed at the dress.

I walked around the store by myself, and checked my phone.

*One New Text*

Maybe it was Louis.

I opened the text to seeit was Korrinne. I called her ight away, not even reading the text.

"Hello"

"Rissa, you need to get home. Dad..." she trailed off.

"What? Korrine, what about Daddy?" I asked scared. I heard her start to cry over the phone.

"He didn't make it..." She cried into the phone and I could hear our Nana and Pop-pop in the background of the hospital.

I started to tear up, but, I knew I had to hold them in because I was out in public. I hung up and called Louis right away.

'I don't care if he's still asleep. I need him to answer.' I tought to myself.

He fianlly answered. "Hey Rissa. How's shopping going?" He asked all happy.

I ran to the nearest bathroom, and locked myself in a stall. I strted crying to Louis over the phone. I told him everything.

"Okay, babe. I'll be there in about 10 minutes. Can you hold on until then?" He asked me, obviously trying to hurry to get dress to pick me up.

"Yeah. I'll go tell the girls I'm leaving early."

We hung up and I walked out of the bathroom to find the girls. I foulnd them ing the Forever 21 right across from the bathrooms. I walked up to them, and told them I was going back to the house early.

"Why? What's wrong?" Ceecee asked me.

I started tearing up again, and Anney knew that I was upset about the car accident, but she didn't know about our Dad. 

"Nothing, I just want to go home." I lied to them.

I got a call from Louis saying he was in the parking lot. Anney walked me outside as Ceecee held her and Anney's stuff.

Louis accidently let it slip that about my Dad. Anney looked at me, and within a second, decided she was going with me. She called Ceecee and told her she was leaving too.

We pulled back up to the house and Anney and I burst through the door and ran up to my room. 

She grabbed my computer and searched for plane tickets for us. She found some pretty cheap, and we packed some bags to take with us.

 We walked downstairs with our bags, and asked either Harry or Louis to drive up to the airport.

"Woow, woow, woow. Hold up. Why are you leaving?" Harry asked.

"You know why." I said to him.

"I mean, I thought you were gonna stay here." Harry said confused.

"I'll drive you." Louis offered.

"We are just going for a few days. We'll be back by the end of next week." Anney kissed Harry goodbye.

Louis took our bags out to the car as we said our short goodbye's to everyone.

We arrived at the airport. Anney checked in our bags as I said goodbye to Louis.

I cried into his shoulder as he hugged me. "I know this is hard for you babe. Just remember you can always call me, I'll be here for you if you need to talk to me."

I looked up and weakly smiled at him. He kissed me and I felt the same sparks I did the first time we kissed a few days ago.

Anney and I rushed to our gate for our flight. We got on the plane, and tried to relax for a little bit.

After the Flight

 Anney and I hadn't told our family that we were flying out. We found out what hospital Dad was at and we grabbed a taxi and drove there. Anney payed the taxi driver as I ran into the hospital with both our bags.

I got what room number he was in, and walked over to the room. I dropped Anney and mine's bags in the very front corner of the room, careful not to make much noise. 

We walked in and I started sobbing. Korinne heard me first, and ran over to hug me.

I felt me phine vibrate signaling a new message. I checked it to see numerous tweets about mine and Louis' kiss. We didn't want to press to know about us, since we just started dating. My mentions were blowing up with hate from people.

There was just too much going on. I couldn't believe all of this happened in one day.
