Chapt 9 Pick a Side

Ruby POV

"Hey how are you" I asked Estarossa my voiced laced with concerned as I walk up to him "I'll be fine" he weakly responded I carefully sat on the edge of his bed "Ruby I want to ask you something"

Oh no its something serious he never really use my full name he always used my nickname. "What is it?" I asked with a slight hint of nervousness "Rue who's side are you on?" He asked me with a serious tone while looking at me straight in the eyes with a stoic expression "wh-what?" I was taken a back on what he said I was also confused on what he said. "Are you helping us or are you helping Meliodas?" I had no words when he asked me that "I'm not mad at you but if your going to be on the opposite side I wont not hurt you but I will lock you up till we win" I stood their shocked but I told the one thing that made even more in the middle of the war "I need time to think" I didn't give him time to respond because I ran out the room and into the forest once I got into the forest I wondered around while I was deep in thought

3rd person POV with the sins

"Sis-Sis!" Elizabeth said (forgot what she called her when she got her memorize back) she hugged merlin and looked up to her "I haven't seen you when you were little!" She tells excitedly "what?!" Everyone except merlin and Meliodas shouts. Elizabeth faints but before she could hit the floor she was cought by Meliodas. Meliodas put her in the room on the bed and sat next to her while holding her hand his face hold sadness but he his it my shodowing his face with his hair. The air was so tense and quite but Diane decided to speak "Merlin why did she call you sis sis?"
She asked not looking at her but the passed out Elizabeth "she regained her memories" Merlin responded sadly "isn't that a good thing?" King asked this time Meliodas spoke "no" everyone looked at Meliodas

"What do you mean?" Diane asked worried and confused "millions of years ago me and her went against the gods and as punishment I live and every time I die my emotions gets taken bit by bit while for Elizabeth she gets reincarnated and forgets her memories if she remebers" Meliodas takes a deep breath "in three days she dies no matter what I do to stop it she dies" while he told them tears ran down his face and some of the others.

TIME SKIP
Elizabeth is awake and decided to walk around the forest it took a lot of convincing but she finally got to go as she was walking she found Ruby deep in thought. Elizabeth smiled seeing Ruby after years that she called out the her but she either didn't hear or was too deep in thought. As she walked up to Ruby she waved her hand in front of her to get her out of thought "huh?" Ruby looked up to see a smiling Elizabeth "Elizabeth! What are you doing far out in the woods?" She asked with a fake smile Elizabeth noticed this and frowned "what's wrong?" She asked "what? Nothings wrong" Ruby tried to reassure.

"Ruby I got my memories back I know when your not in a good mood" Elizabeth says in a matter of fact tone Ruby was shocked she didn't really know anything about their curse she just fought her reincarnation was a coincidence. "H-how?!" Ruby stuttered "let's go back to the pub and I'll explain seems like you don't know anything about mines or your brother's curse.

As the girls walk back the people in the pub was still asking question

" isn't their a way to break the curse" king asked Meliodas while floating towards the counter "their is and I've been trying to find it that's why I made the team.... Once I find it their no longer the seven deadly sins" Meliodas tells king while cleaning the mug. "Is their any other way? We want to help!" Diane asked/yelled Meliodas sighed and stopped what he's doing "theirs another way but... I need to make sure she fully trust me" he says quietly "who, who's she?" Diane asked determined to help lived the curse "Ruby" Merlin chips in Diane and king looked at her "Ruby?"They asked.

"like she's going to help have you seen what she did while the other commandments tried to take over" ban tells Merlin while proving a point that she won't do it "beside how can she help, what beg her dad since she's the only girl not only that a daddy's girl" ban continued "No she can change it" Meliodas informs the people listening "what do you mean change" king tilted his head
