"Y/N, there's going to be a guest arriving with my parents. I need you to behave yourself."

I glared at Emma, jokingly.

"I always behave. When are they going to arrive?"

"Soon, so I have to chain you to the wall again."

"That's fine. At least nothing bad can happen then."

As I said that, I immediately regretted what I said. HER scent was unmistakable. It was the source of my life, my blood, Hell, half of who I was.

The doors to the mansion opened as Emma finished chaining me, only for me to pull against the chains. She tried to calm me down as best as she could before her parents called for her. I sat there for a few minutes before trying to block out the scent. It was intoxicating. Paleblood. The Queen, my mother had arrived. There was never coincidence with her. She knew I was here. I could hear her whispering my name. I started fighting against the chains again before I finally managed to break them. One by one, they snapped. They were so loud, but it didn't matter to me. I grabbed my cloak, and dug around for an eyepatch. In her vicinity, everyone could know what I was.

After I had found the eyepatch, I put it over my left eye, then looked in the mirror to make sure I hadn't forgotten what side my red, vampire eye was on. I saw my blue, werewolf eye and a very faint glow from under the eyepatch. I shrugged and finally opened the door. Slowly, quietly making my way down the stairs. She looked at me before going back to her conversation with the others.

"I understand that you have a werewolf here?"

Her voice was as sweet as her blood. You would always know who you were talking to when she spoke.

"From what I understand, Emma herself caught him. He was quite the catch, but I hadn't seen him lately."

I assumed that was her dad. I already didn't like him. He was arrogant, like some of my tribe.

"Am I allowed to see him?"

"I'm afraid not. He's in Emma's chambers currently, and nobody is allowed in there."

She huffed and looked in my direction.

"You can stop hiding already."

I jumped onto the railing and lunged at her, claws ready. When I got close, she stepped to the side and watched my land.

"Senses are sharp as ever. Movements just as fast. Outside. NOW."

I started laughing. She was entertained and ready. We always fought. Drawing blood, fighting fiercely.

"Fine. Outside then."

With that, we both took off towards the training grounds, trading strikes along the way. The other three couldn't keep up, despite their best efforts. I could see sunlight, but she pushed on ahead anyways. Once we arrived she took off her dress and crown and tossed them to the doorway, where Emma's dad caught them. Underneath them, she had a dress with stars, jewels and a single crystal container above her stomach. I smiled widely. This was going to be a blast. I conjured a blade of shadows despite being in sunlight and she summoned a blade of light. She was unfazed by the sunlight, much to their surprise.

We lunged at each other and disappeared. At least to the mortal eye. To their eyes, they could barley keep up with our 'fight'. Strike after strike, clash after clash, finally, she cut my arm. It wasn't deep, but now there was blood on the ground. Now, it was getting fun. After several minutes, she disarmed me, and grabbed my eyepatch as I buried my hand up to the wrist in her chest. She delicately took my eyepatch off, letting my vampire eye free, as I slowly pulled my hand out of her chest. Then with my free hand, I snatched the crystal container, now filled with Paleblood, and jumped back.

"What are you waiting for Y/N? Drink up."

I licked my fingers clean of the sweet blood, then uncorked the container. I tipped it back as everyone watched. They all expected me to fall over, dead. Instead, my wounds started to close as my mother drank her own blood, resulting in the same effect. I left just a little of the blood in the container, before throwing it towards Emma. She caught it and looked at it, mesmerized by the color and scent of it. Without so much as a second thought, she drank it. Then she held her stomach and fell to her knees. She was obviously in pain, but when her parents went to help her, we stopped them.

"You poisoned her! Bastard."

"There's no such thing as Paleblood poisoning. You live, or you die. there's no in between."

After I said that, Emma stood up, reached in my cloak and grabbed one of the needles full of blood. She then emptied it into the container she had, and drank the whole thing. She looked at me, then my mother. Then she grabbed me by my cloak and drug me over to her.

"What are you?"

"Me? I'm the Queen of Paleblood. I suppose you have questions for me."

" A few. What will happen to Y/N?"

"He's not safe here. He'll be coming with me."

"Why won't he be safe?"

"He's a werepyre, child. An outcast, from both werewolves and vampires. I'll take him home, and he'll be safe and free."

"Can I come with you then?"

"Emma,"

"Hush Y/N. This is your fault now. Take responsibility."

She laughs and grabs both me and Emma before jumping onto of the mansion.

"I suppose you can come with us. Especially since you survived such a large dose of Paleblood. Come."

She drops me and Emma, and I take off towards home. Her home. My home. Emma trips a couple times, due to her new speed, but manages to keep up with us. I throw the doors of our mansion open, and am greeted by the scent of several tasty things being cooked. Rabbit, venison, beef, all of it. I take off towards my room, as Emma follows me. I close the door behind us, and change into an outfit similar to my mothers. Emma looked for something to wear, but I drug her to our tailors. They made clothes so fast, that you'd feel like you walk in, then walk back out. I left for the dining room, and sat down across from my mother. We talked for a bit before Emma arrived, followed by Lunch.

This was a new chapter for me, and a new beginning for Emma.
