As we get into the common room, I stand in awe. It's much bigger than the y/h common room and much more grand. I quickly snap out of it, embarrassed, and set my stuff down at a table. As I start to get into the book and make notes, I notice Draco every now and then take looks at me, and then smile.

"what do you think you're doing?" I ask smugly.

"nothing. do you think I would lower my standards for you?" he says defensively. I hadn't even asked him what he was doing. I chuckle and get to work.

(time skip 2 hours later because I'm lazy)

I yawn, 2 hours have past and all we have been doing is studying. I start to pack my things.

"leaving so soon?" Malfoy says with a smirk.

"Listen, I'd really love to stay but I've finished and I didn't really want to come here in the first place. Now, I have to wake luna." I lie with ease, none of those things were true.

"hm, well why don't you just text her?" he says getting up. he wraps his arms around my waist, causing me to shiver. "I don't want you to leave." I can see the lust in his eyes.

"I-"

"Please, y/n," he cuts me off. damn, why does he have to say my name like that?

"save it for the party, lover boy." I unwrap his arms. man, playing hard to get is so fun. I sling my bag over my shoulder and head out. I start for the dormitories.

As I get into y/h, I head up the stairs. I peel back the floorboard and put my cloak back where it was. I go to the mini-fridge I brought from home and pull out a Monster. I sit on my bed and check my Twitter. Nothing new is going on. Time flies and it's time for the party. I text Luna.

I start down to the dungeon when I see Harry in the common room.

"hey." Harry mumbles. I can smell the alcohol from a distance. "you know, I like you. Like a lot. I just don't tell you because I know I'm not good enough." he shudders and breaks down.

"no no, stop don't say that. you are amazing. I'm sorry I don't feel the same way, but I'm sure you'll find someone." I say, pity eating through my words.

"yeah," he says laying down, in a minute he's passed out. I make a mental note to never mention this. I kiss his forehead on my way out.
