Noon stretched over the lively city of Mondstadt.

Song birds fluttered through the open air leaving sweet melodies in their wake.

Two twins ran through the crowded streets carrying their storybooks whilst dodging the small children.

"Come now, gather around, behold such a saddening tale"

Began the sister as her brother prepared the illusion.

"Come now, leave not behind your handkerchief, it may keep you well"

The brother emptied a small satin pouch of peregrine dust and proceeded to disperse it along the flowing wind current.

"One time, long long ago"

By now a sizable crowd had formed around the children, ears open for a story.

"There lived a young witch in the land"

Even the young bard, Venti, had caught word of this story.

"Ah yes, she came to love a young prince, so this story goes"

A picture was displayed for them, a picture of a smiling young woman with H/L H/C hair and E/C eyes.

As if in a book, the pictures seemed to flip like a page continuing to the next.

The brother pulled out a wand like stick as he played a little game of pretend with the children.

" 'No need for the magic to stop time, no spell can achieve what I feel' "

Sang the sister.

By now Venti had realized the magic was within the book, when she flipped a page the picture would change.

Quite brilliant for a young bard.

"Love bounding through every hour, joy lights a new day"

The captivating image of the young girl abruptly switched to a bruised and bloodied scene.

Her H/L hair had now been cut, seemingly by a blade as the cut was uneven, and she was tied to a cross.

Instead of the young bard singing for the story, the stories seemed to move and speak on its own.

"Tie me down to a cross I look longing at the sky"

A hoarse voice overlapped the twin as she sang.

"Penitence for your crime! penitence and your life!"

The angered people shouted.

Venti had always hated this story, in his many years of living he had encountered poor Y/N.

A lovely songstress who fell in love with a prince but a nuns jealousy burned it to the ground.

A quite accurate definition of the tale.

"If I pray who will hear? I am drowning in their cheers"

She cried.

Just barely you could see the green hair of the prince holding a torch in hand.

A blonde woman stand beside him holding his arm as she read form presumably a Bible.

"Devotion turned to dusty tombs"

The prince lit the fire.

Incorrect.

He did not light the fire.

Camilla did.

"If my love was just a curse then I have only tears to shed"

What a kind soul L/N had.

How unfortunate that misery and sadness overpower kindness and gratitude.

"Let it light, let it burn up bright and with it all your spite"

Always wishing people the best
In life.

To bad really.

"Feel now the weight of death and soon"

With that the twins closed the book along with the illusion.

The crowd was filled with sad sighs, cliffhangers were definitely not everyone's favorite.

"Tomorrow, during noon I will continue this story, I apologize for leaving you on such a cliffhanger but we seem to have ran out of Peregrine dust"

The sister explained, sweat dropping from her forehead as the brother showed her the empty bag.

"Goodbye!" Said the two as they ran in between two houses.

Venti decided to follow them but once he ran through the alley there was no one there.

He wasn't exactly fond of magicians.

But these two were something else.

But not that it mattered to Venti.

It had been a while since he heard the tale.

The tale of Water and Wine.
