After a week from our day at the beach, I was able to go on a case with Jin, however, he the devil tricked me, like the ass the cop is. We were at the City Hall and if you don't remember, I am a pure breed merman so when they asked for my ID or name I might've freaked out. My fiancé though became an angel and flashed that pretty amazing police badge at them and they dropped it instantly.

Apparently, I forgot today was the day we get to finalized the adoption papers, which got me a long talk with Jin about not paying attention or something like that. I honestly don't know, I wasn't listening.

These were the moments I was glad I had a signature and after everything was done, we ran into Leo. This was not exactly enjoyable, yet super awkward since Jin literally ran into his chest. But don't you worry, I was quick to grab my fiancé out of that man's arms and pulled him close to me.

"Why are you two here?"

"None of your business, now leave us alone." I snapped and walking around Leo before dragging Jin away.

"You are getting very protective these days. Me likey."

"You're gonna like sleeping on the couch as well. Yeah, I just did that. Boom!" Jin simply smiles and puts his head against my shoulder until we got to the Jeep.

"You know I think I'm going to teach you how to drive. Yeah... at lunch we'll do that." I so badly wanted to shake my head, however, I knew Jin would win no matter what.

"Would you still drive me around?"

"Yes, but you should know because what if I end up in the hospital? You can't always ask Hyuna and Dawn."

"Just don't go to the hospital." I snapped back, crossing my arms and looking out the window.

"Joon, it wouldn't be just for me, think about what would happen if Jaemin or Ryujin got in trouble and I couldn't go. Are you going to walk there and then walk to the hospital with two kids?" I huffed and pressed my lips together, knowing he was right.

I hate it when he's right.

"I understand but I like you driving me places."

"Guppie, I can't always be with you, you know that right?" I nod and sighed defeated.

"Do you think Leo will be a problem later on?"

"No, he knows we are getting married and has no chance with me." I nodded again and rose a brow when Jin turned the radio off. "We haven't talked about moving into another house, think it's something that could happen?"

I sighed and shuffled around to look at him. "I know eventually we would have to do it but not this soon, like years later."

"We can at least see what's around town."

Jins pov

Days slowly started turning into weeks. Weeks started turning into months and the wedding preparations were finally complete. And I could relax on my couch and drink some wine- I mean grape juice, however, my door rang.

I was home alone and no one knew I was here. I grabbed a gun that was stuffed into my wall behind a photo, before going to the door. I looked through the peephole and the sight made me frown, nonetheless, I still opened the door but with my gun hidden behind my back.

"How can I help you, Leo?"

"Can I come in?" I shake my head and move my body to block his view of the inside.
