I can't believe I pulled it off, I mean sort of. The guards kinda started a man hunt for me, but we'll get to that part later. Like I was saying I thought my plan thoroughly I noticed it wasn't exactly foolproof, but this was the closest me and my brain could possibly get to escaping. It was simple really, I just had to quietly sneak out at 5 am in the morning and knock out one guard who was a little nervous because he was new (you know, guarding an orphanage isn't very common if you think about it) in two quick martial arts moves, one to knock out the gun and one to knock him out.

To prevent making any noise, I had to make sure he didn't fall to the floor or make any noise, so I gagged the poor guy and zipped him up with zip ties. I then put him on my bed and covered him with my blanket to trick the warden into thinking it's me. After that, the door was guard-less so I could walk out with no problem with my supplies.

OK, now was the hard part, and before I say this, you have to say I'm a total nutcase.....................Done? Good. "God, what am I doing, even considering this thought. But anyways, let's give it a go" I said to myself, looking on the bright side which wasn't really a bright side. So, I thought I could use my air powers to control the winds to go up and over the fence and out of that monstrosity of a place known as a private orphanage (have you ever seen a private orphanage?!). And then I closed my eyes

I thought only about air, the winds, the element which keeps us going day by day. I felt that I was rising slowly, so instead of opening my eyes, I kept them shut and thought just about air and nothing else. Once I felt a strong connection with the element, I opened my eyes and saw I was floating right above...... THE FENCE. I felt a wave of relief, but I knew I wasn't done yet I slowly took a step forward and instead of falling, it seemed if there was an invisible floor underneath me and I was standing on it. I commanded the winds to bring me down slowly to the grass and the moment I put my foot down, I started running as fast as I could.

Two seconds after I started running, the orphanage's klaxon alarm rang, and all the guards started running....... the other way? I thought why this was happening, but I had no clue, even though the threats were going away from me, that didn't mean that I could just stop now. Once they had looked to the other side, I'm certain they would come this way. I pumped my legs, not giving a damn about the cuts and wounds I had all over my body from the ferns and vines on the thick forest floor.

I kept on running until I stopped at a clearing which seemed okay for me to get a nice sleep after I got some water from a stream nearby. Then I just realized that there is a boy getting up and another boy right in front of me badly bleeding from his chest, shoulder and leg.

"Hello, my name is Nathaniel King." said the figure in front of me but not a moment later he slumped down on his side.

I turned to the other guy and was going to ask him who he was but then I noticed that all my energy had been completely depleted when I was running. Before I got any water, or asked the mysterious boy any questions, I fell on my knees and my consciousness was snatched away from me by the lack of energy.
