Laila's P.O.V.
"I'm not going." I said calmy not bothering to look at Stella. She's been bothering me the whole day, convincing me to go to this party tonight at Eve's beach house, our other friend. Supposedly, Alli Simpson is going to show up there, like she does once in awhile when Cody's on tour in the U.S.. Eve and her are practically sisters. Anyway, Eve's dad works at Unviersal Studios, so she's super rich and she got to meet every celebrity you could possibly think of. Johnny Depp came to her house once during the shooting of Alice in Wonderland and luckily, Stella and I were there and we got to meet him too. He was a really funny guy.
"You have toooo!"
"I don't feel good."
"You will once you see Cody" Stella winked at me, and went back to searching for the other pair of her Bikini.
That's the reason I don't want to go. Cody. I've had this thing for him for awhile now, probably ever since the first time Eve and Alli became friends and Alli brought Cody with him to her house for the first time. Ever since then, I kept my distance from the Simpson's. Only Stella knows I like Cody, I didn't take the risk of telling Eve. Cody can't know.. I don't want him to treat me the same way he treats his fans. Sometimes I think it was just an act, him being nice and all just to keep up his reputation, but no, he's different.. and I like different.
"ah, Cody? is that the reason you don't want to go?" She looked at me with her eyebrows burrowed, and her golden curls dangling over her shoulders.
"No. I just.. I just don't want to go, I'll just go next week." It's true, Eve practically has parties every Firday.
"ugh. c'mon please? I'm goign to be alone, Adam can't come tonight" Adam is Stella's boyfriend of 6 months and I've never seen Stella so happy with a boyfriend.ever. and she's had a lot.
" I .."
She reaches for my hand and squeezed it
"You don't have to talk to Cody, I promise I'll keep an eye out for him." She looks at me with her sparkling blue eyes
"Fine." I stood up and joined her to search for bikinis.
