Chapter 3 but in a different POV

"Have you seen Niki?" Rinne asked Himeru, taking another shot.

"Yeah..." Himeru answered. "I think I saw him with Kazehaya."

"What's this~? Is Amagi-san worried?" Mayoi giggled, he was obviously tipsy.

"Are you jealous that Tatsumi's spending time with your precious Niki~?"

"Or... are you worried that Tatsumi 'ill steal your Niki from you..." Mayoi teased him.

"Stop that, Ayase." Himeru said. "Amagi isn't in the best state right now."

"He looks fine to me!" Mayoi smiled, then took another shot.

"I don't have ta worry about Niki-kyun... ya know?" Rinne confidentally said.

"Also... Kazehaya's a het. He won't touch Niki-kyun in the slightest." He continued then laughed.

"So... you trust Shiina?" Himeru asked.

"Of course I do."

"Does he trust you?"

"Of course not."

"What made you say that, Amagi?" Himeru asked.

"I've cheated on Niki so many times... how do ya expect him to trust me?" Rinne laughed bitterly.

"So you're a fuck up, Amagi-san." Mayoi said.

"I know." Rinne said, his head in his hands.

"I fucking regret it." He continued. "Niki was the best partner anyone could ask for. God, I even got him to agree to marry me." He laughed bitterly again.

"I didn't even know what I did to deserve him... I. I love him so fucking much." Rinne cried.

"He put all his trust in me, and all I did was break it."

"Maybe if you weren't a fucking womanizer." Himeru face palmed.

"Also, Amagi-san... What would you do if Niki-chan gets tired of you..? I mean... after all you've said it's very likely..." Mayoi said.

Himeru just looked away because he couldn't deny what Mayoi was saying. He was right.

"Please stop blurting out things that won't ever happen. Please... stop making me lose hope." Rinne laughed bitterly again.

"I know Kazehaya isn't straight." Mayoi said out of the blue.

"He only says he is, but he isn't. I've known him for 15 years. He's never fallen in love, he was never interested in anyone. But now. I think it's the first time I saw him so interested in someone." Mayoi continued.

"What are you trying to say Ayase?" Himeru asked, his tone a bit angry.

"Please let Niki-chan go, Amagi-san. You've caused him nothing but pain." Mayoi said.

"Mayoi- What are you saying?! Stop drinking." Himeru took Mayoi's shot glass from him.

"I know Niki-chan will be happier with Tatsumi."

"What made you say that, Ayase..?" Rinne said.

"It's impossible... you know." Rinne said in denial of the possibility of what Mayoi said.

"Niki is head over heels for me. There's no way he'll just leave me."

"You trust Shiina too much, Amagi." Himeru said.

"I should." Rinne said.

"Well. You shouldn't place all your trust in him." Mayoi tapped his fingers on the table.

"I saw him and Tatsumi make out." Mayoi said.

Rinne felt like a part of his world shattered.

"You're lying."

"He's probably tired of you, Amagi-san~" He continued.

"Ayase, you're getting on my nerves." Rinne got up from his chair and cracked his knuckles.

"Stop it." Himeru said as he pulled them away from each other.

"We're here to have fun." Himeru said, forcing a smile.

"R-right." They said out of fear for Himeru.

"Ah, fuck everything." Rinne said as he chugged the entire bottle down.

"Amagi-san! That's not fair!" Mayoi complained. "Just buy some more, will ya?" Rinne said.

"Fineee!" Mayoi headed towards the counter, leaving Himeru and Rinne together at the table.

"I've also noticed that Shiina's starting to not look at you anymore." Himeru started.

"Why are ya talkin' in first person? Ya okay?"

"I'm just too lazy and fed up with the both of you." Himeru answered, shaking his head.

"Understandable. Go on."

"Amagi. Do you want to win Niki back?"

"Why would I when I haven't lost him in the first place?"
