Ahh, barbarians. The first troop you unlock in the game. Even up at levels like champion you'll find you'll probably still use them! Because it's the first troop and has greater hit points than archers it's the most powerful troop at lower levels so when you unlock your laboratory upgrade your barbarian first rather than archers or goblins.
