CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

"The reason for your constant fainting so it seems is because your overworked. This is causing damage to the baby so I suggest taking a break from work for about 2 to 3 weeks" the doctor explained, I sighed and nodded. As we left the doctors office and took off in the car the tension that hovered in the air grew a significant amount. "I'm gonna take off for awhile" I explained getting out of the car as we had reached my apartment complex.

He nodded, "When will I be getting paid?" I questioned leaning down so he could see my face. He sighed getting off the car "Stand properly your gonna hurt your back" he exclaimed as I fixed my posture. "Can you come by tomorrow to come pick it up" He asked, shaking my head "No I'm hanging out with Chaeyoung" I explained. "Ok well do you have time to hang out with your boyfriend" he frowned, "Just bring me the check tomorrow, I have to pay rent soon" I explained.

"Is Taehyung going?" He mumbled, I sighed "No" I grumbled feeling a bit agitated. "Baby, can you cancel your hang out please, we should talk" He softly spoke. "I rehired her, please what else do you want, I'll do anything" his voice cracked. "Just drop it off tomorrow please" I said ready to walk inside, "Get in the car, just lets get this over with now" he explained getting back in the car.

I sighed silently cursing to myself, before I got back in the car. "Your frustrated don't be it's bad for the baby" He said grasping my hand and giving it a light squeeze. "Than don't give me a reason to be frustrated" I explained softly, "I'm sorry, I was out of hand the way I acted the other day" He responded. "You were jealous but I'm happy you know that it doesn't justify your actions" I explained staring out the window.

Time Skip

"Ok here you go" He explained handing me an envelope, I opened it up my eyes widening in shock. "Babe what the hell! This is to much! Your not trying to pay me more than the others are you" I exclaimed in shock. "No your the company's representative this is normal pay" he explained as my eyes bulged out of their sockets.

"I mean sure I expected a lot but not this much" I yelled, as he chuckled. "Is that plenty for rent?" He asked a playful expression on his face. "This is enough to buy a whole house" I mumbled, eyes glued to the heavy stack of money that was placed in the envelope.

"What if I go house hunting tomorrow" I smiled looking up at his tall figure. "Ok but I'll be going with you" He explained snatching the envelope from my hand. "I can just take Chaeyoung" I furrowed my eyebrows attempting to take back the money from him. "No it's best if we find a house now that way we're ready for the baby" he brought up, placing a peck on my lips. "Yah don't think you can start doing that when I'm still upset with you" I explained a soft type of sternness in my voice.

"I promise I won't act out again, so please forgive me, if not for me than for our baby" he begged, I sighed "Fine"

My phone began to ring "Who is it?" He questioned, "Soojin" I replied walking a bit away from him. "Hello" I picked up, I could hear her faint crying "I think Jaebeom wants to break up". At the same moment Heejin barged in, "Jungkook I fucked up, I kissed Taehyung" she exclaimed. "What?!"

Flashback

Jaebeom's POV

I aggressively began throwing punches at the bag, sweat trickling down my forehead. Releasing all my anger into the punches, but finally I couldn't hold it back, "Oh fuck you" my voice cracked throwing the boxing gloves to floor. Letting my emotions swell and releasing the tears I had been holding back.

"Why do you have to make me feel bad" I cried out hitting my chest in a belligerent manner. "You shouldn't be feeling pain, you did that to us" I exclaimed pulling at my hair.

My phone began to ring again, but I couldn't focus. I was drowned to deep in my emotions to even answer the phone. The caller ID caused an instant pain in my chest, I felt trapped. "Baby I love you I do, I just don't know what's wrong with me anymore" I cried to myself.

My vision blurred but I glanced up as feet had come into my view. "What are you doing here" I asked beginning to wipe my tears, "Jaebeom-" I couldn't listen to her. "This is your fault, I was fine and than you had to act all upset about the past" I yelled at her , tears streaming down my cheeks once more. "I'm sorry- I just I miss us, I still love you" she began to cry, "Heejin you did this to us" I explained standing from my previous position.

"I know" She replied breaking down, my heart pained at the sight. I took a deep breath "I don't love you anymore" I explained as she nodded, "I was never trying to ruin your relationship, Soojin and you, you guys are amazing together" She spoke before heading out the door. "Good" I mumbled to myself.

Heejin's POV

I continued to walk although I felt any moment I would collapse, I know I did the right thing but the pain was unbearable. Sitting down in my car I hit my head against the starting wheel, "Your such a stupid fuck" I began to shout my tears pouring at an increased rate.

My screen lit up and his name popped up "Taehyung" I wiped my tears and gathered the courage to answer the phone. "Hello" my voice faltered, "I was expecting a bitchy tone" he chuckled. However I couldn't and all my tears began to pour out. "What's wrong, are you listening? Hello" I could barely here his voice over my cries.

"Is this about earlier, look if you were having a bad day and I just so happened to come along and make it worse I'm sorry, I was just mad" He spoke softly through the phone, my chest still feeling compressed. "Listen to me, where are you I'll come and pick you up" He explained through the phone, I barely mustered enough words to give him the address and end the call.

hours later I found myself snuggled into his arms, completely drained off energy. Tears still falling from my eyes, "I just I'm tired of being rejected" I croaked. Wiping my nose with a tissue, I looked up at him ready to apologize for the amount of time I had wasted of his.

He placed his lips onto my mine, my heart still broken but in need of comfort I replied back. The kiss grew far more intense and lasted for some time. Releasing from the kiss, "Do you feel better" he smiled, seeing him up close my heart began to pang inside of my chest. "I- I have to go"
