A map to me

8 1 1

A wondrous place of joy and tears

The place in which I faced my fears

With silly hats and floppy ears

A place pan laughed among his peers

Through the rabbit hole you must hurry

Through the hall of mirrors in a scurry

To the tea hall

And up the stairs

Where we despaired and no one stared

We were scared still no one cared

I was alone but still aware

That you would always be there

Through the forest and past the trees

OH DEAR! I'm late to see the queen

My fading smile must not be seen

So I will hide inside a dream

As though I'm stuck inside a cage

Crowded on an empty stage

Hidden from your vicious rage

Far to scared to turn the page

How long have I been sitting here?

Drowning in a flood of fear

The smallest sound catches my ear

could it really be you thats here?

Has Slightly come to rescue me!?

Has alice come to set me free?!

The lost boys have come to shelter me

Protect me from my hearts debree

Cautiously I take your hand

You bring me home just like you planned

Head to toe, and hand in hand

You truly are my wonderland
