kayla's pov:
we got into my room and we sat on the bed.
mattia:so what did you want to tell me?
kayla:uhm I don't know how to tell this
I said quietly.
mattia:what's wrong kayla?
kayla:okay okay, so you how we hooked up at the party 
mattia:yeah what about it?
kayla:so my period was supposed to come three weeks ago but it never came, so I took a pregnancy test
mattia:what were the results?
kayla:they both came out positive...
I said extremely quietly but i am pretty sure be heard me.
kayla:are you mad?
I said looking up at him.
mattia:im sorry kayla but I can't do this, im only 17 were still in school, I-I- just can't
kayla:don't you think i thought about that mattia, your not the only who's 17 and still in school
I said getting a bit angry.
mattia:im not taking care of this baby
kayla:so your just gonna leave and not be in their life?
mattia:no im not going to be in their life
he said looking straight into my eyes and my eyes started tearing up.
kayla:okay
I said while my voice wavered. he got up and walked out of my room. I heard the door closed and I just started balling out my eyes. i just sat there in my room crying. i guess I had fallen asleep because I woke up to my mom sitting on my bed.
mom:hey your up
kayla:yeah
I said quietly
mom:what's wrong?
kayla:not-
mom:don't say nothing wrong kayla I can tell somethings bothering you 
kayla:fine, promise you won't be mad
mom:sweetie what's wrong?
kayla:so when I was throwing up I realized that my period was late
mom:how late?
kayla: 3 weeks...
kayla:I took some pregnancy test today because I kept feeling these symptoms and they both came out positive.
mom:what?!
i looked at her and she looked like she was going to cry.
kayla:im sorry mom
I said starting to cry.
mom:it's okay baby, but you need to be more responsible especially now your going to be a mom
she explained and I nodded understanding.
mom:who's the dad
kayla:uh you probably don't know him but his name is mattia
mom:mattia polibio?
kayla:yeah, how do you know him?
mom:his mom and i are friends but I haven't seen her a while
kayla:oh
my mom stayed with my some more and explained somethings to me before she had to go somewhere. the rest of the day I slept because i was exhausted.

-SKIP TO A COUPLE MONTHS LATER-
im now 3 months pregnant, i started doing school from home because I thought it would be better for me and the baby. today was my first ultrasound appointment and I was lowkey nervous. my mom is out on a business trip so I was home alone. natalie has been spending time with me and helping me out a bit. I haven't seen or talked to mattia since I told him I was pregnant. today I was going to go target to get some clothes since most of mine were getting to small for me. I got ready and then got into my car. I pulled out of the driveway and headed to target. once I got there I parked and got out. I walked into the store and went to the pregnancy clothes section. i was looking at some pants when I dropped my phone. I sighed and bent down to pick it up but before I could someone picked it up for me.
kairi: here you go
he said handing me my phone.
kayla:thanks kairi
kairi:your welcome, oh my god your belly
kayla:yeah haha, I'm only 3 months
kairi:ohh that's cool
kayla:your one of mattias friends right?
kairi:yeah
kayla :how is he?
kairi:he's alright, he's been kinda upset lately but he's fine
kayla:oh well let him know I said hi, ah I'll see you later
kairi:alright will do, bye kayla
kayla:bye
he walked away and I continued shopping. as I was shopping i couldn't get mattia out of my head...
