Albus stared at his phone not sure what to do. He misses Scorpius more than anything but he just doesn't have the energy to answer. He's barely moved since Christmas. His mother and father take turns bringing food up to his room and he really just leaves the bed when he goes to the bathroom. He lost track how much he's cried. He liked talking to Draco, it's made him feel better, Draco my not be a mind healer but he close enough and he listens to to him. Albus always admired Draco, for many reasons, but the one thing about Draco that stood out to Albus was that he understood him. Better than Albus' whole family; maybe it has something to do with Albus being the only Slytherin in his family, he doesn't know, he just knows he feels more comfortable with Draco than his father. Albus just didn't have the energy to deal with his family.
It wasn't even twenty minutes later that there was a knock on the bedroom door. Albus barely flinched, didn't look up to see who was entering his room. "Hi" it was that simple hi for Albus to know who exactly it was. He finally looked up there standing next to the bed was Scorpius. Albus didn't bother to make himself look better, he sat up and criss crossed his legs. "What are you doing here?" Albus asked him, there was no malice in the question he just wanted to know. "I'm here to see you obviously, Albus, I'm sorry. I really am. It was stupid of me to jump to such conclusions but it hurt to see you suddenly take to a girl that particular one anyway, I should have realized because it was a girl and I know you don't fancy them I was stupid. I hurt you with my actions and I'm sorry about how everyone was treating you. Especially Rose, I don't know what happened with her i told her because he was the only I could tell at the time and something inside her snapped or something, you didn't deserve that. Albus I know things will take time to heal completely, but I know for certain I can't live without you, I miss you, and I love you no matter what that means for us" Scorpius paused. Albus was just look at him taking in everything he just said and processing it. "I understand if your mad at me or upset with me even, but I can never stay mad at you no matter how much I thought I could, I just can't. Christmas proved that, when I saw Teddy carrying you back into the house and you both were covered in blood, you looked an inch from death and my whole life flashed before my eyes, a life with you, when reality came crashing in and I almost lost you once Al, I can never let that happen again. Because we belong together" Scorpius finished. Albus didn't have any words for Scorpius at that moment. He just leaned over and kissed him. Scorpius caught off guard but welcomed the gesture. When Albus pulled away he looked into Scorpius' eyes. "I love you too, and I could never live without you, either" Albus said to him, then brought him back in for another kiss. "Oh I'm sorry for scaring you the other day there was just a lot going on" Albus said after the fact. "It was last week but you don't have to apologize about that Al, really" Scorpius said. They were just relishing in the fact they had each other back. Suddenly James bursts through the door. "Oh my God! " then he's slams the door closed. "Wait!" He shouted from the other said of the door, and bursting in again. "So you two, you know worked it all out then" he asked them. "Yeah I'd say we have" Scorpius told him then glanced to Albus. "Good he was really starting to get annoying" James said sarcastically. "Haha" Albus also saying sarcastically. James left the room after that. Albus and Scorpius were not disturbed again until Ginny came in and more or less kicked Scorpius out for lack of a better term, since it was getting late into the evening. They said goodbye and knew everything would be okay from then on.
