CHAPTER 4

"Annyeonghaesseyo, Han Jisung-ibnida!"

"Oh. Why did you stand up and bow?" I asked him all confused

"Because that's how you introduce yourself here in Korea" he answered as he sat down and continued eating when his phone rang.

He picked up his phone to answer it, "Oh, hyung! Eodiya?" "Oh ne. Ne. Annyeong!" He put his phone down and looked at me.

"Chinguya, hyung is going to join us in awhile. Btw, how old are you?"

"I'm a '00 liner"

"Oh! So we're of the same age. Waaa. Nice to know, uri chinguya!"

"Paenji..."

"Ne?"

"That's my nickname, so please call me Paenji..."

"Paenji?? The autumn flower?"

"Ne. My real name is Hyerin so it's kinda far from my name but the thing is, I was born in Autumn, Dec. 21 which is the last day of that season and my mom was so happy because she loves Autumn flowers so she gave me the nickname Paenji."

"Waaa. Daebak. That's actually a nice name. Hmmmm, Arraseo. From now on, I'll call you Paenji" He smiled then someone rang the doorbell and we heard his Aunt talk to someone. We continued to talk when...

"Oh hyung! Come over here and meet Paenji" he said to his hyung with a wide smile on his face. Then I turned around and..

"Mworago? What do you mean "it's you"? I told you to call me Oppa, remember?"

"Hani-ya, why are you with her?" He turned to look at Han

"Oh? Do you two know each other? Waaa." Han looked at the both of us. "Uri chingu hyung. Paenji-ya." He looked at Seo while pointing at me.

"Oh. Geurae? 응 . And yes I know her, she's our class maknae." Seo said while pulling out a chair next to Han "When did you guys meet?"

"Two hours ago." Han happily answered Seo..

"Jinjja? Daebak. Didn't know you knew how to make friends....Paenji-ya.." He glared at me as he said my nickname

"Ah. Ne.. Oppa.." I looked down and rubbed my hands together. What is wrong with this guy? Am I not allowed to have friends?

"Ya, hyung. Stop acting so cold towards her. Aish, jinjja. HAJIMAAAA" Han shook Seo's shoulder while pouting like a baby then he looked at me and said "Oh, btw Paenji-ya... What time are you going home later? Want to go to an arcade with me?"

I smiled and felt so happy hearing the word arcade that I jumped out of my seat and answered "NE!"

"Jinjja?? Okay , okay. Hand me your phone" he dialed his number and saved it "Let me know when you're done and I'll pick up at the front gate." He handed me back my phone and he saved his number as..

Quokka?

"Hani-ya, wae Quokka?" I asked him with a confused tone in my voice

"Oh. That's my nickname so don't call me Han. Okay? Call me "Uri Quokka"" He said while laughing

I smiled at him and said "Yes" then when I turned my head...
