3x07: Currents

Scott and Alex walk in to hospital, everyone rushing around.
"Does anyone know where doctor Hilliard is"
They knew that it was they mums voice the walk in to the hospital with a bag of food.
"Thanks goodness I'm starving" she take her gloves and and put them on the desk then she turn back to her son and daughter.
"I'm sorry thank you for bringing me dinner"
"No problems mum"
"Is everything okay"
"Except for half of the accident victims in attendant of repiling being rerouted here from downtown and the ER attending aren't answering any of his  pages, yeah I'm okay"
"What does not answering pages mean"
"Is that nobody can find him, so we have to wait for the on calling people to get here"
"Miss, excuse me can I please have something for the pain" A lady from the accident asks.
"Okay I'm sorry, I know, but actually giving you something could complicate things" as she sits her back down, Scott and Alex watch. They both go to sit next to the lady in pain.
"Uhh you know I think I read online that sometimes  human contact can help with pain"
"He's not wrong" Scott gives her a sigh glare, She raises her hands in defence. The lady nods her head in pain. They both look around to make sure no one is watching. Scott grabs the lady's hand gently and the black veins start going up his arm. She starts breathing heavily as she feels less pain. She looks at Scott and smiles.
"Somebody, somebody help me, I need help"
The both look at the doorway and see Ethan carting Danny in pain. They both get up to go help him. They sit him down as Mellissa gets a look at him.
"What did you do" as Alex push's him
"Nothing, he said he was having chest pains and trouble breathing but it just kept getting worse"
"This is not good, how much longer on Dr Hilliard"
The lady on the phone shrugs her shoulders.
Danny starts vomiting one the ground, green and white. Scott looks back at Alex as the three both realise what was in the vomit.
"Mistletoe"
They take Danny to a different room. Mellissa pushing as Scott, Ethan and Alex follow.
"Can you three please go back to the waiting room"
"Where are the nurses and the doctors, where is everyone"
"It's a full house tonight, there tending to other patients"
"Okay mum how can we help"
"Honey you can't, his lung is collapsed, his heart is being pushed into his chest cavaties"
"He's gonna die isn't he"
Ethan looks at Scott worried. They all look at each other.
"No, no he is not, Scott you grab the tape, Alex grab the scissors cut his shirt open"
Alex and Scott start moving to help as Mellissa get her gloves on and Ethan companies Danny. She gets a needle from the draw.
"Mom he not breathing"
"I know, I know, okay" Ethan, Scott and Alex start freaking out, Alex almost passing out as she stabs the needle into his shoulder. She injects the needle into Danny. Danny passed out for a few seconds and opens his eyes.
"Thanks you" as Mellissa smiles.
"No problem, what" They all stare and gaze at her.
"That was awesome"
"Was no problem you know I mean, it wasn't a big deal" she smiles back at them. Alex run ti her mother for hug as the both hug long and hard. Scott to about to cry.

Scott and Alex walk out to Scott bike. They both grab their helmet about to put them on. Ethan comes down the stairs, Scott and Alex not wanting to talk to him.
"I know your not gonna believe me but I didn't do anything"
"All we know is that the minute you got here you went right for Danny and your brother went for Lydia"
"We're not gonna hurt them"
"And why should we believe you" Alex walks up to him with her pocket knife in her hand.
"Because we knew that one of them was going to be important to you and now we know it's Lydia"
"Stay away from her you stupid werewolf"
They all focus their gaze back to the car driving left and right. Alex and Scott put their helmets down and walk towards to get a closer look. It crashes into another car as the three of them jump back. The my run towards the reckless car to get a look if the driver was okay. They open the door, no driver. Empty with something small in the seat, Alex picks it up.
"What is it" as she raises her hand to a small moth in the car seat.
                                      ***
Police cars show up, red and blue lights flashing in different places.
"Hang on, hang on, they were both in the car"
"No dad they were trying to tell you, there were separate kidnapping, two doctors, both gone"
"So who's cars is this"
"Dr Hilliard, the on calling doctor, the ER attending is the one that never made it in"
"Let me just focus on getting your story first alright"
"Okay"
"Boys, Alex, give us a second" they nod their head and walk away to the side to talk.
"These are definitely sacrifices right"
"Yeah it's what we've been telling you the whole time"
"It's the one Deaton mentioned, healers"
"What about Danny he threw up mistletoe, not a coincidence and if he wasn't with Ethan, he would have died"
"You trust that asshole"
"What no of course not"
"Okay then"
"But Danny not a healer"
"Can you hear that he asks Scott" the turn to hear the conversation. Without the boys knowing, Alex listens in. Scott turns around.
"They found a body"

Mellissa wakes up and sit up, jumping to see Scott and Alex sitting in the chairs near her bed.
"Really kids, kids" She shouts Scott jump onto his feet while Alex faceplants onto the ground.
"What do you think you are doing" Alex gets back on her feet.
"Uhh we were watching over you"
"We were making sure you weren't the third sacrifice"
"But both of you were asleep"
"You we're on watch last" Scott's asks alex.
"What are you talking about, you were on watch last"
"No you were on watch last"
"I might have been on watch last"
"My heroes, wait didn't you say that they were all doctors I mean, I think I'm in the clear"
"But yeah it could come under any kind if healer mum and you definitely were a healer last night"
"Yeah well I'm not going to be anyone's humans sacrifice today so both of you, get your butts to school"

"Alright were going to do everything we can, right now the best you can do is go back to school" Stiles' dad leaves the three of them alone at the animal clinic. Deaton was taken to be a sacrifice.
Scott gesture to the other room to talk. He closes the door behind them and turns to them.
"We have to tell him"
"You mean like 'tell him' tell him"
"Or telling something else that your not thinking your want to tell him"
"You know what I mean"
"Remember how are mom reacted to it, she didn't look you in the eye for a week"
"And she got over it"
"And it actually made us closer"
"I don't know guys like look at him, he completely overwhelmed as it is"
"He's overwhelmed because he has no clue what's happening"
"He's gonna find out sooner or later stiles"
Alex puts a hand in stiles shoulder.
"Okay but is now the right time to tell him"
"What if k not telling him now gets someone else killed"
"What if telling him now gets him killed, I know Seaton was like a dad to you, I get that, okay but this isn't, Scott this is my actual father okay and I can't, I can't loose both of my parents, not both of them"
"You're right" Alex gives stiles a hug, he hugs back as he looks at Scott. She pulls away and steps back to face the boys.
"No I'm not, I'm not right, I'll tell him"
"Well help you" Stiles smiles at Alex.
Scott starts walking out, stiles breathing heavily.
"Hey, you got this"
The both state and smile at each other and start walking out. They see Deatons sister talking to the police. All of them confused on how she's his brother.
"Listen closely, all of you, the sheriff, the deputy or the detective won't be able to find him"
"You don't have to ask for help, shortie" Alex folds her arms and smirks.
