"You what?!""I-I let her go with the Weasley family. She- she's with child. One of the Weasley boys is the father!"
"I made a deal, Narcissa! With Angus!"
"I'm sorry, I-I didn't know!"
"Angus is with him, Narcissa!! There's a reason she's been living like a muggle all her life!!"
"You don't tell me anything, Lucius!!"
"Does he know?"
"I-I'm not-"
"Does Angus know?!"
"Yes, h-he knows."
"Draco!!"
"Y-yes father?"
"Find your sister. We must hide her. Immediately."
--
I woke up to shaking. Fred was trying to wake me up, literally everyone was in the room when I looked around.
"Rain? Are you alright, dear?" Molly asked me.
I bit my lip as my eyes watered and I shook my head. "N-no."
"Y-you were crying... in your sleep," Fred said.
"We had to wake you. It wasn't a pretty sound..." George followed. "Was it a nightmare?"
"Well obviously," Harry fired back. "Sorry. I- something doesn't feel right about this. What was your dream about?"
"Harry," Hermione scolded. "You don't ask right away. She looks horrified."
"I-I need to find him," I stood up slowly with Fred's help. All of them watched me, confused. "Now. I-I need to find him now."
"Him?" Fred asked. "Who's him? Me? I'm right here, darling."
"No," I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples. "Ah, my head. I-I need to sit down."
Fred and George helped me back down, then sat on either side of me. "Who do you need to find?"
"D-Draco," I swallowed hard. "I need- I need to hide."
"Wha- hide? From who?"
There was a knock on the front door downstairs. I went pale. Arthur took it upon himself to check the door. We heard it open, then the firm voice of the one and only Draco Malfoy was clear.
"Where is Rain? I'm bringing her home. Now. Something's come up."
I got up on my own and made it to the stairs, got halfway down them, and that's when Draco saw me. My head ached further and I nearly went dizzy and fell, but to my surprise, Draco actually caught me and helped me down the stairs.
Something felt different with him. Something felt- right. Like I had known him all my life. I'm not sure why all of the sudden it feels so different but it does. Like there's an underlying connection between us that I hadn't felt before.
"Come on. We're needed at home. You have to hide."
"From who? Why?" Harry came down the stairs, followed by everyone else. The twins, worried, stood in front of me and Draco. Fred had the most painful expression to look at. He looked the most worried about me than he's ever been.
"Rain I- I'm so confused," He stuttered. I walked into his arms. "Why do you have to leave? Are you in danger? Where will you be?"
I met eyes with Hermione, who gave me the same knowing look. She ran to the tree and grabbed Fred's gift from under it and unwrapped it. Fred watched me open the box and was even more confused than before.
