"Happy Birthday, Amy!" Jungkook wished his best friend and presented her with a gift. Amy was surprised to see the gift as she unwrapped it with a great joy. Other classmates were just staring at her happiness. It was a cute stripped cardigan which he gave to his sister like friend.

"Wow! Its beautiful Amy!" Minju giggled who was sitting behind her. She was Amy's good friend besides Jungkook.

"Thanks Minnie!" She said, "Thank you so much, Kookie!" She then pinched his cheeks. The class begun and all Amy did was glanced at a boy on the next bench when no one noticed. She liked him since he came new to the school that year. Namjoon studied in New Zealand before and then came back to his homeland to complete the rest of his education. He was since always surrounded by girls. Amy never tried to act like she was his fan but she liked him very much because of that incident.

"Watch out!" Someone held me as Amy was going to trip and fall. She turned to see an unfamiliar face. Blonde hair, deep dimples, same school uniform. He smiled. Her heart skipped a beat.
"Th-thank you!" She said and fixed her uniform.
"My pleasure" he replied.
"But who are you? I haven't seen you before" Amy confusingly asked.
"I'm Namjoon. I just joined" he smiled. The school bell rang, he waved and rushed to attend his class. Little did she knew, he walked in her class and smiled at her again taking his seat.

Namjoon was undoubtedly not comfortable when he was given too much attention. He would make some excuse and sit next to Amy to run away from them. Amy knew so she would help him by responding. This time he had a better excuse.

"Happy Birthday Amy!" He sat beside her and unzipped his bag. He pulled out a big envelope and handed it to her.

"Don't open it now" he said.

"Okay" she smiled. She was happy that he wished her even if it was to run away from the girls. Other girls looked at her in jealousy. Especially Kemi, the prettiest girl in the class. Amy hated the way she would run behind Namjoon calling him 'Oppa'.

Kemi came up to Namjoon and smiled at him ignoring Amy. Amy kept quiet.

"Oppa! Do you have plans anywhere this evening?" She sweetened her voice.

"Kind of. Why?" Namjoon replied without getting carried away.

"All these days you helped me a lot to improve my English skills so I wanted you to come to the library and teach me again" she said throwing her long black hair to the back. That's right. Namjoon agreed to teach her English in free time. Amy thought he likes her as he was never rude to her. That's why she never had the confidence to confess to him.
