Zelda told everything spoken about to Lana without argument. Lana fell asleep soon after listening to Zelda, but Zelda could not allow herself to sleep yet. She stayed up with her knees clutched to her chest and her eyes on the copious amount of beauty that Lana held. She hesitated before reaching a hand out, bringing Lana's hair back with her fingertips, letting the strands run over her skin like sand. She closed her eyes momentarily, letting herself relax and she laid back, moving herself closer to the warmth radiating off of her partner. When Zelda opened her eyes once more she was looking into Lana's, her hand still entwined in her hair as Lana's amber eyes closed once more. But this time she wasn't asleep. Lana brought her lips to Zeldas as an act of pure passion, bringing her hands around other other and pulling her closer.
Soon the night had become an array of passion and lust. The tent echoing with the whispers or moans of each other. It was moments such as this that Zelda recognized her love towards Lana, the need for her. Zelda felt as if Lana had held a part of her soul within her, and Zelda held Lana's. They needed each other just as the moon needed the sun, for without it, it would not light up the night. There would be nothing. Without her sun and stars, there would be nothing.
Zelda laid within the suns arms, encapsulated by it's warmth and entranced by itself. She listened to their breathing as it moved rhythmically to each other's as though they were the ocean. The tide rises, the tide falls.
"I love you," Zelda whispered against her suns shoulder, falling asleep to the response.
"And I love you, moon of my life."

Zelda woke to cold sweat, her eyes lingering on the empty space beside her as she got up. Taking a moment to think of where Lana could have gone when she remembered their trip. The mountain at dawn. Cursing under her breath she quickly pulled on her clothes and under armour, stepping outside the tent as she latched on her armour and weapons. She scanned her eyes over the village, seeing no sign of Lana and pursed her lips. Starting towards the exit of the village, she stopped as she saw the commander and Shado.
Walking over to the two she began to let thoughts fill her head, pushing them aside and diagnosed them as meaningless and stupid. Lana was okay, Zelda told herself, she always was. She had to be.
"Nex, have you seen Lana?" Zelda asked, scolding herself as she realized her voice cracked with worry.
Nex raised her chin as she looked to Zelda approaching, her eyes soon filling with the glare of confusion as she looked back to Shado,
"I thought you were with her, Zelda."
Before Zelda could speak, shado interrupted.
"She came by before the crack of dawn to tell me you two were leaving early," she said, her expression also wreaking of question before she added, "along with kat."
Zelda stared at the two, her face losing it's control as she let her expression grow to worry, her voice high and quiet as she spoke,"she left?"
Nex took a second before looking to Zelda sadly, "it seems so."
Shado looked away, her vision catching a glimpse of her sister, Cody coming towards them.
"Zelda," she began, before Cody could interrupt.
"You're speaking of Lana."
Zelda's head shot up towards the new voice, looking to Cody with nothing but desperation.
"I talked to her before she left, " Cody began, not being able to look Zelda in the eye as she spoke, "she told me it was for you, Zelda. Not to go against you. After the danger you two had found yourself in last time... I suppose she was just keeping you safe."
"What about her?" Zelda's voice rang out into a yell of anger, but her face only showed sadness as she continued, "what if she needs me? I'm suppose to keep her safe as well." Zelda paused for a moment, biting her lip and clenching her eyelids shut before yelling out curses.
Cody stepped back, knowing Zelda not to be gentle when she was like this. She looked to shado and nex, searching for answers.
Shado hesitating, running her fingers against her hair before speaking up,
"Zelda."
Her voice was to fraile and Zelda was too stuck in her own mind to have heard it.
She spoke again, this time louder and she grabbed for Zelda as she did so.
"Zelda!"
Zelda looked back at her, her eyes red and brow furrowed as she brought back her clenched fist. Shado grabbed at her wrist, expecting the blow before it could hit her. She kept her eyes on Zelda the entire time, waiting for them to soften before speaking,
"We can go after her. You and I."
Zelda froze as she stared at shado.
"We leave now."
