Pure worry and fear fill Kuroo's eyes.
I can see my own reflection in them.
He brushes through my badly cut hair and kisses the top of my head.
"I-I'm so sorry, Tetsurō."
The sound of my own voice makes me burst out in tears once again.
"It's okay, it's okay!" he reassures me and wipes away some tears from my cheek.
"I want you to sleep at my place tonight, okay?
I can't leave you alone like this!"
I shake my head sniffling.
"N-no I-I don't wanna be a bu-burden to you!"
"Jesus no you're no burden to me! I love you and I can't stand seeing you like this, okay?"
I break together crying even harder so he smoothly picks me up and brings me to my room.
He lays me down on my bed and starts packing a few things.
After that he continues to clean up the mess in the bathroom and then hides my drugs again.
When he's done he sits down besides me with a worried face.
"What did you take?"
"I don't know..."
I stopped crying.
"Try to remember, please."
"Coke, speed, xanax..."
He looks shocked.
It makes me smile.
I like it when people get shocked about this side of me.
But something about his scared eyes makes me feel different.
Makes me feel... bad.
"Don't worry about it."
He shakes his head and sighs.
I lay my head on his lap and he plays with my hair.
"Kuroo?"
"Yeah?"
"Can we go now? I can't endure this place anymore."
"Of course."
He takes the bag with my stuff and helps me get up.
His arm lays around my waist so I don't lose my balance.
Ten thousand thoughts rush through my head and everything is blurry.
"Sorry, Kuroo."
"For what?"
We stop in front of his frontdoor while he gets his keys out.
"That I didn't text or anything this week."
"Girl what? It's fine! You don't have to constantly spend time with me."
"Still tho..."
He shakes his head and smiles at me.
"Don't feel bad because of such a stupid thing, okay babes?"
I nod and we hug.
He opens the door and the smell of food fills the air.
"My mum seems to make dinner."
He states smiling.
He puts my bag down at the stairs and we go to the kitchen.
"Hey momma!"
She turns around and looks a bit shocked when she sees me.
I just awkwardly wave at her.
God this must be such a horrible first impression.
My hair is a disaster, I've got blood stains on my face and I'm full on drugs.
I'm literally shaking because of them.
"Oh hey! You must be Y/N, right? Tetsurō told me about you!"
She smiles brightly obviously disturbed by my look.
"Yeah... nice to meet you, Miss Kuroo!"
Oh god oh god oh god!
"I'm making dinner right now. It should be finished in about half an hour if you two want some!"
"Okay thanks, mum!"
