Alina's POV

When I was younger, I used to run around, not afraid of anything. Nothing could hurt this powerful little girl. I walk around the gazebo thinking of how lucky my siblings are to already to out in the world exploring new lands and different cultures.
"Princess come here, you will get burned!" My governess stated.
I cursed my fragile skin I hated being cooped up all day in the castle.
I walk to my governess, my green summer dress swaying in the light breeze.
My governess is a great friend of my mothers, Ophelia she has been there for all of my sibling's births and have helped our mother raise us all. She had a husband who worked in the fields by the castle. Tom, he was always joking just trying to put a smile on my face.
I climbed the stairs to the top of the patio and walked into the entrance of my room right in front of the gazebo.
I looked at Ophelia with annoyance in my eyes and sighed" What is next on my to-do list?"
Ophelia smirked, apparently, she was amused at my words.

"What is there to believe that there is more" She jokingly asked.

"There's always more, the world does not stop to look at itself" I spoke softly.

It was something she always said to me when I would look too long in the mirror. I was little a bit above average for my height as a woman, had a few curves and would always shy up around new people. I had blue eyes unless you saw me in the sun, dirty blonde hair, and an average nose and lips not to full.
My full name was Alina June Croatia, I found my middle name funny because I was a winter baby, and all my siblings were summer babies.
I had 2 older sisters and 1 older brother, one who is married and had made me an aunt.
My sisters Tina and Kayla are engaged however they are the rebellious types to try and run away together, they are closest to each other out of all my siblings. When my brother met his wife, it was like love at first site and my brother was lucky they liked each other when they got married. Unfortunately, a few years later my brother and his wife were unable to have children, but Samuel had housed one child, an orphan from a duke, then later made him his own. Caleb was 3 when he was left by the duke and my brother adopted him and was the cutest little man I had ever seen.

 "Alina, Alina, Alina!" Ophelia yelled.

"You have your tutor session, piano practice, and ...." She continued to spout off more tasks for me to accomplish.

I stopped listening after that, the only things I truly enjoyed was if my mother wanted an audience with me or if I could go outside and rid my house or hide in the maze.

"You end the day with a ride on Lucky, your horse." She ended.

That surprised me I was not really able to go on Lucky more because I am older and had more responsibilities. I was very curious and wondered what had made Ophelia allow Lucky onto my schedule.
