Su Yimo accepted the cup of tea. She didn't drink it and simply put it on the meeting table and spoke to the old Madam, "Grandma, I shall go back and prepare myself for the meeting with Zhong Ji tommorow."
After the meeting ended, both Su Yimo and the grandmother left the meeting room but the other relatives stayed back.
"Su Ruijin, you must think of something to handle that Su Yimo. You mustn't let her win any favor!"
"That's right, if she were to be in charge with the cooperation with Rumo, it might even risk your position in the company."
Su Ruijin had a grim expression. It was exactly like what the relatives said. Had Su Yimo really become the person in charge that deal with Rumo, his position in the company would definitely get affected.
"Don't you guys worry, I will definitely let this bitch learn her place."
Su Yimo and Han Jingru went back home.
Su Wenlun and Jiang Yan were sitting nervously in the living room. The family was facing a life or death situation and the father didn't even have the courage to participate in the family meeting. He was so fearful to personally get ousted from the family.
"Yimo, how was it?" Jiang Yan asked diffidently.
When Su Yimo saw her parents frightful face, she smiled, "Don't worry. We will not be ousted by the Su family."
Su Wenlun looked at Su Yimo in disbelief. The father stood up and his hands were shaking, "You... Have you really gotten the project?"
"Yimo, you did that?!" Jiang Yan's eyes and mouth were wide opened as well.
Su Yimo nodded and looked over to Han Jingru. Everyone thought that she did it but the woman knew that Han Jingru was the person who made it happen.
"Yeah, I managed to secure the deal. I even signed the contract." Su Yimo said.
Jiang Yan hurried towards Su Yimo in elation and the mother shoved Han Jingru away violently, "Yimo, my good daughter! I am so sorry for doubting you!"
"Yimo, what have your grandmother said? Did Su Ruijin really serve you tea?" All of a sudden, the father regretted that he didn't go to the meeting and he missed the sight of Su Ruijin bowing his head to Su Yimo. What a waste.
"Grandma complimented me and Su Ruijin did serve me tea." When Su Yimo saw how happy her parents were, she was happy as well.
And when Su Yimo was happy, Han Jingru was put in a good mood as well.
The moment Jiang Yan saw Han Jingru smiling, she was annoyed and resentful. The mother sneered coldly, "Why are you laughing stupidly over there? This is all because of our Yimo, what does it have to do with you?"
Su Yimo just wanted to speak in favor of Han Jingru but she saw that the man shook his head at her. She could only let out a silent sigh.
"Now the two of you can be restful. No one will be chasing us out from the Su family."
"Now I am restful. With a daughter as great as you, mum is just happy!"
The family was spending time celebrating but Han Jingru was left aside. The man went into the kitchen quietly.
That night, Su Ruijin and his father went to the Su's mansion. He wouldn't allow Su Yimo to climb up the ladder like that and he wanted to nib it in the bud.
In the living room.
"Grandma, are you really letting Su Yimo to handle this matter?"Su Ruijin spoke to the old Madam.
