To my dad with love

Dad you are the first man I fell in love with the day I came to this world.

You taught me to walk, talk and even fly,

With you I took the first steps of my life.

Together we connected the dots of stars in the sky.

And I learned knowing you always taught me right,

You paved the path of my life with mom.

You let me know what’s right and wrong,

I did  mistakes   uncountable,

But you forgave knowing I might do it again.

You taught me to hide sadness with a smile. 

We both sneeked and had our secrets that mom never knew,

Our secret ain’t it?

You wished I was better,made me feel more than better,

But trust me dad I tried

And one day you will know.

I made you down , I never meant to do it.

You told me im your princess,

Got me everything I wanted and I thanked you with worries.

When I was down you would say ,”don’t you worry’’,

Those three words made me strong .

I miss those days when we both never missed a football match and knew all score.

Thinking of those who never saw their fathers,

I feel lucky to have you by my side through my hardships like a hero

I promise one day you will walk with your head held high,

Just your smile makes me happy,
