"You have no idea how right it felt."
Kaden's head was swimming. "You-you're not mad?" He thought Ana was about to kick him to the curb, tell him how it was too soon.
"No, silly I'm not mad." Ana reached up and pet Kaden's wet head. "You calling me 'the M word' made me feel a way I haven't in a long time." Kaden's eyes went wide. "I felt powerful, but not like usual, it was a sense of euphoria that I need, Kaden. I need you."
This time it was Ana who was begging. "After breakfast, let's go over the contract, please?"
Kaden didn't know what to think. He has never been so quickly pursued by someone so genuine, yet absolutely terrifying. "After breakfast..." He mulled it over out loud. "Yeah, sure."
At this point, Ana's stomach was in knots. She needed to get Dan alone at some point during breakfast, to gush to him, to have some 'best friend time'. "Let's get going," Ana said, gathering her purse, phone, keys, and the contracts. "We'll stop at yours; you can get dressed, then head to breakfast."
Kaden smiled and followed Ana to the parking garage. They climbed into the car and Ana turned on music, playing her favorites on Spotify. "Can you plug your address into the GPS?"
"Oh, yeah sure." Kaden nodded and typed his apartment into Ana's dashboard console. He was anxious, to say the least, but most of him was excited. Excited to have someone in his life who genuinely seemed to want to be with him for him. And that knew all of him.
Jaimie didn't know about his kinky side, and if Kaden could help it, he never would. Jaimie was straight-laced, very about the rules. Kaden was shocked that when he came out as bisexual to Jaimie, he hadn't lost a friend. "Kaden." Ana woke him up from his daydream. "We're here, want me to come up with you?"
Kaden rubbed his eyes as he was exhausted and slightly hungover. "Yes please." Waiting for Ana to open his door for him he gathered what few things he had from the night before. His chest harness, keys, and the phone charger Ana had lent him. "Do you want this back?" Kaden smiled, looking up at her as he ducked out of her car.
"No. Thank you, Kitten." Kaden blushed at the nickname Ana had chosen for him. He was not normally shy, but Ana brought out such natural submission in him that it was almost impossible for him not to be.
They held hands walking up two flights of stairs to Kaden and Jaimie's apartment. "Welcome, to Casa de la Kaden!" Kaden smiled as he unlocked the door, walking in backward to let Ana in first. "I'm going to change really quick. Make yourself at home."
Kaden walked back into his room to get dressed in some clean clothes. Ana wandered the rest of his place, curious.
Ana was slightly shocked at how well decorated the apartment was. Slightly vintage décor with all the modern technology scattered throughout. For some reason, she didn't expect this level of taste from Kaden. It was a pleasant surprise to see that her boy had a good eye.
No Ana- he is not your boy.'
Ana was getting ahead of herself. Kaden hadn't signed the contract yet and he might not ever. They couldn't deny the sexual chemistry between them, but was there anything else? This morning in the shower was phenomenal, but did they have anything in common? Dreams, aspirations, goals?
C'mon Ana, don't get in your head now.
They shouldn't even be thinking about a contract yet. They should be getting to know each other. Making sure it's a good fit. Ana was scared that if she said something along those lines though Kaden would think she was having second thoughts- which she was nowhere near having.
Kaden's voice broke her out of her worrying. "Ready?" He was dressed in black skinny jeans, a fitted red V-neck, and a black zip-up. He looked hot. Ana nodded, picking up her purse and jacket from the couch. They walked back downstairs and climbed back into Ana's car.
"Breakfast time?" Ana asked as they pulled out of the parking spot.
"Can't wait." Kaden smiled. "I'll let Dan know we're on the way." Ana thanked Kaden quietly and drove to the brunch place. When they arrived at the restaurant Dan and Gwyn were already sitting at one of the outdoor tables. Gwen waved them over.
"Hey, cuties!" Gwen beamed, sitting next to Dan looking like the definition of opposites attract. Gwyn was dressed in white, high-waisted, ripped, skinny jeans and a flowy, pastel, pink top. Dan on the other hand was dressed in a charcoal grey loose fit tee and dark wash jeans. Dan had his arm draped around Gwen's chair, keeping her close.
"Hey Gwen, hi Dan." Kaden and Ana exchanged greetings with their friends. Kaden sitting across from Dan, and Ana across from Gwen, the pairs started discussing what they might order for breakfast.
"Can I get a mimosa?" Gwen asked Dan, giving him puppy-dog eyes. Dan sighed. Almost as if he didn't know how to say no to that face.
"I'm only saying no because we had a lot to drink last night. Okay, Pumpkin?" Gwen nodded and returned to looking over the menu.
Kaden's head stayed buried in the menu. He felt like he didn't belong at this table. Sure, he and Dan were friends at the club, but they never hung out besides being there. He and Gwen were in a similar situation. They knew each other. But only in respect to MINE.
"Kaden, are you okay?" Dan noticed Kaden staring off in the distance.
"Uh- yeah. Just not sure what to get. I've never been here before." He lied. Not wanting to worry anyone more than he was already worrying himself.
"Let me help you decide, Kitten." Ana leaned over and helped Kaden look over the menu.
At this, Dan raised his eyebrow and looked over at Ana curiously. He knew that she wasn't usually one to fall for subs so quickly, and it seemed like she was head over heels already.
"Are you guys ready to order?" The waiter came by their table. They all nodded and placed their respective orders. Dan and Ana got omelets, Kaden got eggs benedict, and Gwyn got pancakes and sausage.
While they waited for the food to arrive Dan started questioning the supposed new couple. "So, how did last night go, you two?"
Kaden and Ana looked at each other. Not sure how much or how little to share with their friends.
Ana was the one who spoke first, "It went great, and that is all you get to know."
Kaden giggled a bit at that. He figured Dan would want to know all the horny details but was appreciative of Ana keeping that business to herself.
"So!! You're coming back to MINE tonight, right Kaden?" Gwyn asked, completely moving on from Dan's inquiry.
"Uh, I hadn't thought about it, my roommate might ask questions, he's kind of overprotective."
"Just tell him you ran into an old friend at the bar or something," Dan suggested.
"That was last night's excuse." Kaden put his head in his hands and laughed. "Honestly, I am trying to move out of there, it's just really hard in New York, and on a teacher's salary too."
The food got there shortly after Kaden explained the whole situation with Jaimie. They all thanked their waiter and declined politely when asked if they needed anything else. As they ate Ana broke the silence with a question, "So, Kaden what interested you in joining the club as a VIP in the first place?"
Kaden thought for a moment, why did he join the select few at MINE who were allowed to perform, use the playrooms, and enjoy drinks included in their membership fees? "Well, for one I'm a whore." Kaden said with more confidence than he meant to, causing Ana to choke on her hash browns and Gwyn to giggle into her OJ. "And secondly I just needed an outlet for my 'other side.' Being a teacher, and my roommate being who he is, I just needed somewhere I could be 100 percent myself." Kaden smiled, taking a bite of toast looking around at his new friends.
Dan and Ana made eye contact for a brief moment and Dan gave her a knowing look almost as if he was saying 'what the hell are you doing Ana?'
