She kicks her legs. I get up. I walk downstairs. I see Emily talking to my dad.
Ali: is your mom sure?
Emily: 100%. She's fine with it.
Ali: ok. Bye bubba.
I kiss her head and hand her to Emily. I smile.
Emily: do you want a ride to school?
Dad: it's fine I'll take her.
Ali: I'll see you at school ok?
Emily: ok bye. Say bye to mommy.
Ali: bye baby.
He leaves. I miss her already.
