Chapter 2

The next day I went to school and went by Mia and Brooke's locker. As usual they were talking about what's wrong with our government shit. "Hey" I said "hey kinze, what class do you have next?" Mia asked. " um, science why?" "Well I just got a new schedule because I got moved from my advanced classes." Mia said. " cool" the bell rang and I walked off to science with Mia. we sat down in seats next to each other so we could talk. "okay so since you all are slackers I'm going to give you extra work today." Mrs.Smith yelled. " ugh is she serious?" Mia said. " yes I am serious Ms.Webber." The class giggled. Mia just rolled her eyes. "today we are going to work on pages 256 through 315." the class grunts. "this is bull shit Kinze lets just guess through it." Mia said. we pretty much just talked through the whole class and got to the second page. after 6th period I went to my locker to get my books. To my surprise a guy colored in tattoos and a piercing on his lip was standing behind my locker. his hair was a mop of curls on his head. he wore a plain black t-shirt and jeans. He was a year older than me and towered over me. "Hey" he said. "uh, hi." I peeped. "so I'm friends with Ava and she told me about you and you seem pretty cool." his voice was so deep and his accent was thick." "thanks." I said. "so do want to hang out some time?" he asked. "um, no I just don't really know you." "oh ok, sorry I just thought... It's fine." he said awkwardly. then he just walked away. I quickly walked to my next class. after school Mia Ava and Brooke came over to my house. I turned on some Metallica on my phone to listen to. "you'll never guess what happened today." I said. "what?" Brooke asked. "a guy in 10th grade asked me out." I said. "oh yeah Harry, he's cool." Ava said. "did you tell him to ask me out?" I asked. "no, I just talked to him about you and he thought you were cool." Ava said. "well he seems kind of weird to me."
