Maybe....
If we were never born....
All of this wouldn't have happened to us..
"Fuck!" The woman yelled as she got lifted by the 10 meter titan. She stabbed it's hand with her blades, but it hadn't affected them. Its lifeless eyes were staring at her like a child looking at a new toy. Some of her bones could be heard cracking from the outside of her body. Her eyes squinted in pain and face scrunching up. She then let out a cry as she was suddenly let go.. The lieutenant caught herself by pressing the trigger to let out the grapples. They had attached to the brick of the house right behind the titan.
She zoomed right by the giant without a problem. She roughly landed on the house as I held her side in pain. The girl tried to stand straight but couldn't. The pain was too much. The titan started to fall; she saw the nape was cut but not by her. "I guess I gottta owe you again?" She limped towards the now male across the rooftop, almost tripping over her feet. "Take it easy," Levi jogged towards me, putting his blades away. The sound of the clinking on the roof was nails on a chalkboard for her. She wanted to rip her ears out at that point because her head had a heartbeat to it.
"I came in time. We need to go." She leaned on him as they made their way across the rooftop. "Why? A new order?" Her voice was raspy, and she felt like her lungs were going to explode. "Yakima, stop talking. Who knows what broke in your body. And to answer your question sort of. The Trost District has fallen, just how Shiganshina was 5 years ago. It's far, and I don't think we'll make it until sun down." He says, pulling her close to him as he grappled on the houses. Her breath was unstable as blood came out of her mouth. She closed her eyes and gave into his warmth.
They had to hurry back to the gate of the town, but knowing how long it's going to take is stopping them. What if they were late and everyone was dead?
She was laid on a wagon with Petra removing her jacket and unbuttoning her shirt. Her eyes opened as the wagon was just bouncing from the dirt and rocks."Lieutenant, you've got to be more careful." Worried Petra, Yakima looked over to see her bandaging her up. She gave a weak nod as she slowly sat up. It's not like she wanted to get grabbed in the first place. "Captain will be pissed if you don't lay back down. One more step, and you'll probably die." Oluo gave a sinister grin as he shrugged. "Oluo!" Yelled Petra, giving the guy a glare. "Knock it off. My head is going to explode if i hear both of you talk anymore." Yakima snapped as she stood up on the wooden wagon.
She gripped her side in pain. "I don't care if i die. The most worst thing Levi will do is give me a lecture at my grave." She coughed, and a sudden sharp, painful sting ran through her body. She looked at her hand and saw the blood. '..great.' She slowly buttoned her shirt and jacket. She fiddled with her cape as she also put it back on.
She looked up from her lap and was trying to locate where they were. She saw in the front the Commander and Levi with a bunch of others. The breeze hit her body, and she took in the scent of the wet dirt. She looked around for her horse, but it was all the way in the back with some others. She groaned and slowly sat down next to Petra. The ginger was staying silent like she was asked to by her superior. She scoffed and faced to the scene before them. The wall was now in view and could see smoke from smoke signals in the air. Her vision was good enough to see the large crater in the wall.
Yakima's hair blowed in the wind as the horses picked up speed. "I wonder what happened to those poor cadets. Wasn't it graduation day earlier? Some of them probably didn't even get to survive to go in the regiments." Petra looked upset at the thought of that. Yakima just looked at her before back to the slowly approaching wall. "They got a real-life experience with titans. They knew what they were getting into. No matter what regiment, they had to deal with titans eventually." She let out a sigh and rubbed her own side. "It shows the weak don't have the right in this world sadly." Petra looked at her with a shocked look, and her brows furrowed forward. "You.. you can't just say that.. You- i-.." She stuttered over her words a bit. "Being alive isn't a right, it's a choice. And it's neither of our choices. We are destined to die one point, whether it be later or early."
