Y/N's POV

"One and two, and two and three," My dance choreographer's voice echoed throughout the dance practice room. Sweat dripped down my body as we went over all the steps I need to memorize for my performance at the award show next month. "Annnnd we're done, great job!"

"I'm soooo tired!" I groaned after I plopped down on the floor, I breathed heavily through my mouth because breathing through my nose wasn't satisfying my lungs enough. Jesse laughed as he wipe the sweat on his face with his face towel across the room.

"You should be, you have been practicing everyday for 10 hours Y/N. You need to rest, physically and emotionally." I heard him say, I closed eyes for a minute and slowly sat back up.

"I need to practice more, I need to deliver a perfect performance next month. My parents will be there, I can't mess it up. I need to prove to them that running away from them to pursue my dreams were successful." I reasoned.

My parents never supported me in pursuing my dream of being a k-pop idol, so I had to make a choice either let them control my life and be their puppet my whole life or let me be in control of my life and find my happiness on my own. Of course I chose the latter, eventually I got accepted at YG Ent. and it made my dreams come true, it's one of the best choice I've ever made in my life.

"I'm just worried for you, I already treat you like my own sister. Just don't overwork yourself." He softly said. I gave him a soft smile and nodded, I untied my messy hair and gently tie then up in a clean bun.

"I'll go now or else I'm dead to my girlfriend when I don't, you need a ride though?" He offered. I shook my head and told him I brought my car with me. He immediately left, I slowly stood up and went to my bag. I grabbed my phone and saw my messages filled with texts from my girlfriend, jisoo.
