"Do you really have to go?" Dahyun asked quietly, tears brimming and threatening to fall as they stayed in the car with a solemn atmosphere. "Can't you bring your work here and let's work it out together?"

It's selfish to ask, Dahyun knew, but it was only because she doesn't want to be away from her girlfriend for almost a year to overtake their coffee shops, but she has to, she was just trying her luck. After all, her Mom needs to rest.

Tzuyu holds Dahyun's hand softly, against about the idea of leaving as well. "I'm sorry, baby. I have to. Don't worry I'll always contact you. Our time difference is only an hour--"

"But we're both busy! You know how busy we get. Can't I file a year leave and come with you?"

"There's no leave as that, Dub." Tzuyu tried lifting the mood, but Dahyun was too down for that. She sighed, "I'll try to finish everything as soon as possible. It's just eight months, love. I'll leave physically but my heart and mind are with you."

"Ugh! Why do you have to be sweet when you're literally ten minutes away from flying?" Dahyun started crying, hiding her face with her palm. She felt Tzuyu chuckled softly and pulled her to her chest. "Don't forget to message me every time possible, okay?"

She felt Tzuyu nodded and kissed her head. "I will. Same with you. Tell me if unnies bully you. I'll get back to them one by one once I'm done."

Dahyun sniffed, detaching herself from Tzuyu. She wiped her tears and reached over her face, "It's okay to kiss you, right? You're--"

Tzuyu didn't let her finish and just connects their lips, closing her eyes to feel the softness of that lips that she will surely miss and longs for those agonizing months in Taiwan.

"I have to go. I love you. We'll overcome this together."

Dahyun watched as her girlfriend gets her baggage in the back seat, tears welling up again. "I love you too, Tzuyu. Message me when you landed."

She can't go out, media and cameras were waiting for her at the entrance of the airport. She will fly alone, taking a year of hiatus that the company stated for the fans that it's regarding family matters, which is true.

She saw her looked once again at her car and smiled sadly. Dahyun knew she was just acting strong, she doesn't want anyone to see her cry, and she knew she will once she's out of sight of anyone.

"Hi, love!" Tzuyu greeted on their scheduled face time, "You look pretty with your dress."

Dahyun rolled her eyes, propping her phone across her as she sits properly on the chair. They're having a virtual date, Dahyun in the dorm while Tzuyu is in her house, dressed prettily like her.

"Don't flatter me, you can't even say that to me when you were here." She retorted, leaning near the screen until her eyes were the only ones visible. It's definitely a Dahyun thing.

"That's because when you're near I feel speechless. The camera never gives your beauty justice." Tzuyu mirrored her position, looking straight to the camera as if she was looking at Dahyun. "I miss you, love."

"I miss you too," Dahyun whispered, "I wish you were here." She held the screen like she was holding Tzuyu's face. Oh, how she missed her warmth, her hugs, her kisses, basically her presence.

"I'm sorry." She apologized. She was stress from all the papers her mom's secretary was shoving to her, from studying what to do to run the shops and their other stores. She barely had gotten any rest or sleeps, she wanted to cry and the dear of failing the shops was scaring her, but hearing Dahyun's voice and seeing her at the end of the day, even though virtually, it was enough to make it all dissipates in thin air and make her feel better. "I'm not going home any time soon, there's a lot of things to do."
